I even got a letter to prove it!

I got on the Dean's Honour List for last semester (it's for students who have a 85+ overall average - mine was 89%) wink

Just proud of myself that all my hard work is finally paying off.

I call BS on this one. I looked at your port and could not find one shot of you wearing pants anywhere!

Seriously, congratulations.

I remember getting one C in a class during my freshman year in college, and being all proud because it was a science class, and I always sucked in math and science -- so a "C" in a college class would have been like a "B" in a high school class. I was mostly just happy to have passed it without any worries.

My mom didn't understand that, and was really upset that I was "turning into a C student, after finishing high school with a 4.0"

The fact that college grading is different really bumfuzzled my mother.

She also absolutely could not understand how you could take a class and only get a "pass" or a "fail."  I don't think she ever believed I was being honest when I told her, "You don't get a number in that class. You just get a pass or a fail."

Good for you! It feels good to have all the work pay off. Retaining it is the issue. You will though, as long as you are interested in it. smile

That was like my stats class second year of university. I failed it the first time taking it so I had to re-take it in summer school. I had a tutor, cheated on all of my open book tests and still only passed with a 57.

But I worked my ass off for that 57 and I was so happy that I just passed the course.

You never know, she might pass through Regina on her way to someplace important, and remember that some nobody photographer here said something nice about her and look him up for a shoot.
I mean, it could happen.

Besides, she is beautiful and intelligent and makes the world a better place.
