Why someone from out of your local area?

It doesn't look good for you. Everything is in her hands now. Filing a claim against someone oversea is fruitless. You will be wasting your time. Hate to tell you this, if she is not intending to keep up her deal, there is not a whole lot you can do. Pretty much just need to write it off.

Why didn't you just hire someone local?

MM mods have a policy of not getting involved in personal disputes between members, but at least if you report her then they will be aware in case they should get other reports about her.

You can also put "Not recommended: MM# XYZ" on your profile here if you wish, although be aware that some people might see that as a negative thing when they visit your profile, so it's your call

This is not the typical "I shot TF and didn't get my images" thing.
I don't know if this meets the statutory requirements for fraud, but it's certainly approaching "fraudulent" behavior.

You paid a visiting photographer?  ouch...you're probably going to have to write this off off as a loss.

She's threatening you (presumably with violence). She can be thrown off MM for that. I would suggest you CAM her and copy the message to the mods so they can see exactly what she said.

As for your money/pictures, I'm afraid you'll probably have to write those off. I'm sure she won't actually do anything if you don't keep going after her, but hopefully this will be a lesson to her not to treat people so shittily in future!

And remember, Karma is the biggest bitch of all - she will get what she deserves one way or another!

If I do a shoot, I expect to be paid in full before that person leaves the shoot.  If I am to deliver X number of photos, then the burden is on me to follow my end of the bargain, but I'm not going to take partial payment for the shoot and then full payment after I deliver the images.

Copy message to the mods? Sure. But if someone threatened me I would not be afraid to report her threat to someone other than the mods ( as in law enforcment). I would also check on whether or not she was authorized to work in the UK.

I don't like threats.

I would have chosen you both if I knew you then. Its just that she contacted me and offered the whole look, make up, wardrobe was provided by her and photographs. It sounded good and as I was new I went for it. I really didnt think she would do this because from her facebook page, she looked professional.

I got offered a TF shoot after her and that photographer did amazing job. she gave me free edited photos and one of my picture got selected by Vogue Italia. I wouldnt have even gone for the paid one if this one came before.

Too bad!

If she posts unedited images they will make her look bad if not worse than you do. I would tell her to do it.

I would go ahead and report to LE and ask about recourse in the UK.

Firstly Thank you for the pictures however the following:

- Pictures are not sent in a right format and therefore I cannot download or save them.

- You have selected the worst pictures on purpose hence why you have not added your logo on them because you know the quality is not to your standard and obviously this will ruin your name.

- You have promised me 6 pictures and there are only 4.

I am extremely disappointed with the results and your behaviour. I don’t care what you have to say, what matters to me is you have promised me something and did not keep it. The standard of the pictures is so poor. I have been nice to you so far as I could and as per your rude messages on whatsapp, I have not been pushy, I just wanted to be notified to when exactly I was going to receive the pictures. I don’t need to give you any explanation.

If I wanted I could have charged a small claim against you for not delivering the goods or report you to immigration as you did not have the permission to work in the UK. I could even notify MM of what you have done to me (I have all conversations and make them read to any third party, you are the rude one) but my professionalism does not allow me to harm others. I have been cheated and I will just think my money got stolen but I expect you to send all 6 photos in a correct format!

I may sound little rude but that is because she was already very rude to me on whatsapp before this episode. Maybe because she saw this forum because before that she was ignoring me. I didnt mind waiting for 2 months or even longer but she did not notify me.
