Is it Wrong to Laugh at These?
You gotta sympathize, but you gotta laugh too. Sep 18 14 05:47 pm Link PDMedia Photography wrote: those are hilarious...glad you posted, really made me laugh! Sep 18 14 05:53 pm Link Sep 18 14 05:53 pm Link Yes, it's in poor taste to laugh at these poor girls suffering such humiliation. It's just terrible. Seriously, I hope no one got hurt more than a small bruise on their ego. Hope they can laugh at this too. Sep 18 14 05:53 pm Link You bet. People can get seriously hurt falling on runway, and even more so, falling OFF the runway. Not something you should find any humor in. Sep 18 14 06:19 pm Link If so, then Monty Python would have been out of business. Sep 18 14 06:29 pm Link . People falling will always be funny Sep 18 14 06:30 pm Link The ministry of funny walks has some openings!!:-)) Sep 18 14 06:39 pm Link dd photography wrote: And it will always be serious. Then again...she stubbed her big toe real bad one day, and I couldn't stop laughing no matter how hard I tried. I'm laughing right now thinking about it. As long as it isn't life threatening...laughing seems to be a normal response. Sep 19 14 02:03 am Link The girl who landed directly on her knees could have displaced her kneecap. That would suck hardcore. It's kind of shitty to laugh at people who fall, but it's funny, and we all do it. Heck, when I fall, I generally end up sitting wherever I land, laughing at myself, because I know someone got a huge kick out of it. Sep 19 14 06:47 am Link #3 Sep 19 14 06:50 am Link 1 If Schadenfreude is wrong, I don't wanna be right. 2 " stoopid model, can't walk, how hard can it be. ( I kid. I nearly fell on the fucking runway once. )...no wonder reputation is not so awesome. 3 my auntie went to a nude beach once and she told me about a lady there with extremely saggy breasts. The lady trips and falls of course and smacks herself in the face with her bewbs. She had the good sense to laugh with everyone though. Sep 19 14 11:41 am Link It's always wrong and sick to laugh at someone's misfortune. Sep 19 14 11:47 am Link Chuckarelei wrote: It's not a misfortune. Got it. #2 is particularly awesome because the talent actually Caught Air. If I'd been there in person I'd ha be handed her a bag of frozen peas and a Kudos for not breaking her fucking neck in this dangerous job. No wonder they get paid gazillions. It's danger money. Sep 19 14 01:03 pm Link Not unless the model laughs 1st and is ok. But it is always good to laugh at a photographer. Just kidding... no I'm not..... Yes I am...... Really I am.... Maybe not sometimes..... I'm tired of this argument. LOL Sep 19 14 01:59 pm Link Brooklyn Bridge Images wrote: +1 - looks like she hit the edge of that pool fairly hard. Sep 19 14 02:01 pm Link I personally don't find these things funny. Safety issue aside, on stage is not where I can find humor in someone's misfortune. I'll laugh at motorcycle or skateboard crash vids (barring serious injury) but that is a totally different arena where falling comes with the territory. Sep 19 14 06:52 pm Link And the male model walks on like 'its just another day at the office'... Sep 19 14 07:00 pm Link Abbitt Photography wrote: She doesn't seem to have been hurt much. She climbed right out of the pool and went on to finish the show. But the guy did totally ignore her. Sep 19 14 07:12 pm Link Mortonovich wrote: Walking in 7' heels that you've not had two minutes' worth of practice in on a thing called Catwalk next to a pool...I'd call that pretty much an accident waiting to happen. Sep 20 14 07:29 am Link Monad Studios wrote: He can't win. Sep 20 14 07:32 am Link Pretty sure I've seen the source video for the 2nd one and she got up laughing her ass off. Sep 21 14 02:35 pm Link It is funny...if no one is hurt. Why some people don't find it funny is that they think she is hurt. Therefore if she get up and laughs herself in a longer video, it would be a funnier video since we know she wasn't injured. Sep 21 14 02:40 pm Link I have never been the type to laugh at people falling. I'd either ignore it or help them up if they looked hurt. I see nothing funny about people hurting themselves especially falling into the pool. This is why all people should learn how to fall properly (Martial Art/Stunt Falls can save you from injury/death) to avoid injury. Ok the 3rd one is kind of funny... Because she is laughing and keeps falling and showing she is ok. Sep 22 14 01:44 am Link I guess you have to ask yourself if you are the sort of person who laughs at others misfortune I have attended /photographed over 1000 fashion shows and I will tell you that I have never ( in the real world ) seen anyone in the audience laugh when a model falls ( many times people clap when the model is able to get up - as their is relief that she or he is ok ) Sep 22 14 06:28 am Link Chuckarelei wrote: People fall, it's funny. I laugh when old people fall. Then again I don't give a fuck about most humans so meh Sep 22 14 06:35 am Link |
