Dec 01 07 04:43 am Link The Photo Collective wrote: Usually people let you know, especially if they are a fan of your work... Dec 01 07 04:44 am Link I do apologize about the mix up with the photos. We @ Brownstyle.net did not intend to get this type of reaction from the photography community. We have many designers that assist in creating ads and unfortunately the photos were used and we are sorry, and are apologetic about that. If anyone has a problem with clearing a issue, feel to contact me @ [email protected] ..and we will clear up any issues you have with me personally or any issues with the company. again we do apologize for any inconvenience this matter may have caused, and we are currently working with our web designers to clear up the issue. Dec 01 07 05:19 am Link Robstyles Photo wrote: mix up? it looks like images were taken without PERMISSION and posted online and possibly printed flyers. doesn't look like a 'mixup' looks like you f*cked up. Robstyles Photo wrote: I'm guessing you expected warm hugs, bible stories and a unicorn ride? Robstyles Photo wrote: It's interesting how it's always the 'designers' fault. but you realize that regardless of who designed it... who it was designed FOR is liable. You should check your sources better. And to catch ya up to speed , so ya know for next time : Robstyles Photo wrote: I didn't have my photos on there, but how abouts you take whatever money you made for the past 2 months and send that to the photographers , whose work you stole. That should about cover it. Robstyles Photo wrote: your 'designers' also take care of your myspace as well? because they're up there too. Dec 01 07 05:45 am Link Thanks for your comment... Dec 01 07 07:32 am Link strange how your photos in your ads that are to promote goods/services are actually owned by Lionel Deluy. Never heard of him? Dec 01 07 10:27 am Link LADY SWEET FACE wrote: No. I am dead too. LOL. I'm sure if she meant HIM the person or his work. Or both. Dec 01 07 10:30 am Link LOL. Read his profile. I hope he uses a proofreader for his "design" work. Dec 01 07 10:48 am Link I've run into this problem a couple of times--especially with night club event promoters. They can't very well claim innocent infringement (your images were used with the watermark still on them). A letter from my lawyer along with a bill for $3x my usual commercial licensing rate usually clears it all up. Be sure to take screen shots (ctrl + Prnt Scrn and paste) of the infringement when you discover it Dec 01 07 11:10 am Link Me and Bruce Talbot have rectified the situation. I am open to having a meeting with anyone that would like to discuss an outside matter. If there is a issue with me or my website feel free to email me directly @ my email stated above and we can work it all out. But then you got caught. Robstyles Photo wrote: Bullshit. Every single time someone gets caught they make this claim. You want to be believed? Publish the name and contact data for the "designers" who stole the photos and used them. Make them accountable, in public, for what was done. Robstyles Photo wrote: I have a better idea. Post the names and contact data for the people you claim are responsible. Post them right here. Go on record with a specific, checkable accusation. Let's see who is really responsible. Robstyles Photo wrote: Again, bullshit. If there really are such "web designers" (they do your Myspace page, do they?) they ought to be both publicly identified and fired. There is no "working with" after this kind of image theft. Dec 01 07 12:09 pm Link Robstyles Photo wrote: But what you will NOT do is identify the persons you claim are responsible, here, in public.
