Yeah, I know, ANOTHER chaperone thread.  So, what should I do with a chaperone who is wearing a skull-and-crossbones head scarf, a full Fu Manchu mustache, and is carrying a real Thompson submachine gun?  I wasn't about to tell him to get out of the picture!  smile

As long as he's friendly, don't worry about it.

I would get my own Silenced Sub-machinegun that has twice the cyclic rate of the Thompson and order him to drop the gun and to leave the shoot. But that's just me! :-)

Move on - look for a model whose chaperone doesn't have puerile issues.

His name wasn't Frank Castle, was it?

Now, had his daughter been there... That would be a hot shoot.

Clearly this guy either has serious "trapped in a time warp" type issues, or he wanted his picture taken too.  *lol*  Maybe he's jealous of ol' girl's hotness!

Tell him if he wants candy to come back on October 31.  Or, hand him a casting agent business card...

What if the model shows up with a matched set of 9mm's and burns down your building?

Ask him if he is going to shoot his model too?!

Walking around with a machine gun would get you in BIG trouble in a BIG hurry, but it is legal to own and fire them, as long as you have the paperwork.  It is also imperative to have them under you care, custody, and control at all times!  I have fired that very Thompson and so have some models--see photo of "L.A." firing a burst on full auto.

Has it occured to anyone that Bob is pulling everyone's leg with a clever post designed to make people look at his port? Very nice work by the way. Some very good glamour work.

OMG, I can't believe this. What kind of fashion fauxpau idiot wears a skull-and-cross bone head scarf with a full Fu Manchu to a photo shoot?

Hellllooo, can we say 1972 yikes

I'd tell Mr. fashionably unconscious that unless he's gonna get with today’s fashion, he aient stepp'n foot in this studio, escort or not big_smile

And for that machine gun, unless it accessorizes his outfit, lose it wink

Yeah, but we're having a lot of fun, and it's a great spoof on all the chaperone ranting threads.  Thanks for the compliment, Stephen!

I would grab it from him and use it as a prop.  I doubt he would dare use it on me.

Hell, work him into the shoot - it normally costs big bucks to rent a character like that.  If he came to the shoot (no pun) on a low rider hawg, that would have made for even better photos.

Sometimes you just have to set aside your shoot list and wing it.

But you knew that.  ;-)
