go in and apply, not that hard.  you mean working at the restaurant right, not a calendar or something? my friend works there, and there are some WOMP girls at that hooters and then some beautiful ones (my friend used to model).  She just went in and applied, it's not that big of a deal, not like you have to be a supermodel to work there, it's just a restaurant

i have heard there is a strenuous interview process that involves a written test and discussion of your last grad school thesis...

j/k, big boobies and a bubbly girl next door personality. a girl at my gym works there and says they are big on nice smiles too

Honestly, it's more about personality & energy than overall looks.  But...  Keep in mind that it is an image based company.  Most of the Hooters I've been in have a wide variety of girls working.  Something for everyone...  If you're serious about applying make sure to dress cute, keep your energy up during the interview, and have fun!  After all if you don't have fun working @ Hooters then where can you have fun??

They don't like tattoo's. That's all I know about the place. If you have small ones, you can cover them with band aids. If you have a big obvious one, they probably won't employ you.

Also, it probably helps to buy into the hype about the god awful food being great. Really, I mean - how do you make a chicken wing taste that bad?

Hootser girl: What Lisa on Green Acres would call a Hooters girl.

Why would a place called Hooters even allow girls with mosquito bites?
It's discrimination!

They probably would. It's the really huge ones across the shoulder they don't like. Yours look like they would be easily covered by a pair of really trendy orange coloured shorts.

My mother stoped calling mine names when they moved out and got social security numbers of their own.

That a place called Hooters filters girls with tattoes is pretty ironic, don't you think?

you cant cover them with bandaids.
you have to use makeup, usually dermablend
i wore the orange shorts for waaaay too long
and spent waaay too much of my tips on dermablend

The one in Warwick RI I went to, they were covered in band aids. It made all the girls look really ugly to me, so I had to ask. They probably stopped that (this was five or six years ago) because it looked so bad. It's a pretty unbelievable policy.

I would not work a job where they didn't accept me the way I am.

ha luckly enough my handbook happened to be right beside me
stright from it
"If the uniform does not cover the tattoo, makeup that matches the Hooters Girls skin tone should inconspicuously cover the tattoo. No large bandaids, patches, or stickers, etc may be used to cover the tattoo. Visible tattoos may result in immediate termination."

That's great you didn't start this topic then smile

You didn't accept the way you were before you altered yourself. For them business is business if you want to work there you have to fit the regulations.

OMG. I am sorry. The way I read it made me think you were saying "They employ men too, here is an example..." instead of "They employ men, here is a female Hooters girl you can ask..."

And apparently I wasn't the only one, lol.

Just wording... I thought you were picking on Nicole for some reason.

It says straight on the application that you are playing a role and that the image of a hooters girl is a surfer/cheerleader/girl next door look. You sign a contract saying you agree with that and that if you dont follow there standards you can be fired on the spot. Its something you know going into it. But its super worth it. You make amazing money and get to have fun and play games all day. It dosent even feel like work.
