The 21st has been changed. LV GLAM will be back on Sunday the 28th of February. LV GLAM location for Sunday 2/28/10  is 1302 s. 3rd st @ Colorado (across from Williams Costume Company)
Bring your props, and concepts ideas. Extra themes for this shoot will include  "Angel of Mercy or ???" " Barbie in a Box",  Joker Gangster Femme Fatale,  Fantasy-World Steampunk and more to list. I hope you will come out with your designs. What sizes do models have to be for your fashions??? Or were you bringing your own models?

Photographer fee: $25.00 dollars!!
1pm to 6pm in downtown Las Vegas providing a platform for the model, photographer, stylist, mua, designers, bodypainters to the fashion industry.
This interactive event will function as a weekly
glamour photoshoots, database for models, make-up artists, hair stylists, designers, and photographers.
People in the industry will be able to network and potentially

I will definitely be there! my designs range from size 1-6 but I am working on sizes 7-9 so that I can just do adjustments for models to fit in them. I also need a few pics of myself for a portfolio i am working on. Im creating outfits for that as well. I Love the themes you have come up with so far. I will think of some as well. I will bring some props to work with as well. See you then!

LV GLAM will be back on February 28th 1-6pm. Please don't limit yourself in just shooting in film at an LV GLAM event. It's going get very expensive for you in developing and printing images for everyone that you shoot involved in each shot. When you come to the  LV GLAM event as a photographer to shoot the models you are commited to give away free images to all that donated their time and talent working on creating that shot. Such as the model, hairstylist, mua, fashion designer, and body painter. Shooting in digital format all is needed is to make a master cd of your favorite shots and copy them to a picture cd disc. Times that to the amount of people who worked on it and giving them each one picture cd for free. Another way is to post your favorite images is on a social networking site like myspace, facebook, theres more to list. This gives everyone involved access to your LV GLAM event images to pick and choose what images they want to have. Its less expensive and time consuming too.  Any photographer attending an LV GLAM event shooting the models must have thier own  digtal camera to shoot with but, can bring another format such as film camera along as a second camera too. You don't have to shoot every model at the event, just as every models doesn't have to pose for every photographer. At my  past L.V.S.B.P.S. photo shoot event days before the digital revolution we all spent hours and  alot of our money in our labs printing images for everyone to share. If you came back you shared your images with the models you took pictures of. If you didn't share...you would develop a negative reputation for not sharing pictures with the models you shot.  The models would not pose for you and let all the other new models attending know that you don't share pictures an to walk away from you as you started to shoot them.  I would sometimes shoot 12 rolls or more, doubles prints sometimes triple prints for each event for the Las Vegas Strip Bikini Photo-Shoots 1992 every Sunday till August 2000 sometimes spending around a couple hundred dollars per Sunday's event. I loved film photography then.... but I love digital photography more now.

This business is too diffcult and competitive to make it alone, no matter how talented you are.
No photographer is an island.
In my experience, teams that stick together- stylist, agents, makeup artist, producers, and so on- have the best track records for longevity in the business.

a DJ is a great addition. Music is great inspiration on top of what is already available at the location. I can't wait.

Its for male models, female models, designers, MUA's, hairstylist, and photographers..it's a great event if you want to build your port or just come hang out and network. I have gone everytime and had a blast. There are some great photographers and great spots for shots. look forward to seeing you at the next one.
