Also, those boys are hella big when you stand next to them!

Where exactly do you shoot from? I imagine there are a few different locations but I would guess on both sides of the dugout? Like I said, I would love to shoot one, but I have absolutely zero press connections lol.

As far as the Cardinals go... psh, its about team spirit baby!

At that stadium, gone now, there was a photog area right next to the dugout.

I`m assuming that was when Busch Stadium had the plastic grass,
so yeah...that field was like a heat trap,I remember watching the
heat waves comming off the field when they showed a day game
Heard its a lot better now that they went to the real grass

Good News/Bad News

Good News- I received my ring flash and it works beautifully (the test was conducted to see if I could blind people...I was successful).

Bad News- I had not used my Vagabond II in about 6months or so.  The battery seems hosed....no workie.  I am going to try to slowly drain the battery of any life by using a nightlight or something like that...not sure if it will even power anything....then charge it back to life.  If that does not work it looks like I will need to buy a new battery.

The crazy blinding of people will just have to wait a little while longer.  sad

As for the 18.6 pound Vagabond II, I plan on putting the thing into a back pack so as to make it much easier to haul around.  Unless there is absolute calm in the water....I will not be stepping into the water with it.  Yikes!

I have to be at close to 50MM in order to use the ring flash I noticed....so it will work great for my 70-200 VR lens...but not wide angle stuff.  I figured as much but I just did not really know for sure until I tried it.

Hopefully good times will be coming soon.

I do concur about Johnny's...  Good food, service (maybe that's because I'm always with the famed Edwins smile ), plenty of food for the price....  I give it a 6 stars out of 5.. They have Mt Dew and don't look at me weird when I order it for breakfast...  big_smile  lol

well, looks like the next new digicam is going to be a canon....

we all know that the canon DSLRs are crap (and the people that use them are suspect), but they really know what they are doing in the point and shoot world....

a 10mp g11 and underwater housing for less then $675.00. That should be able to get me print quality 16x20 images.

Honestly, my Bday kinda sucked this year.

Almost no one remembered unless Facebook told them, and I didn't get to go anywhere, and I didn't get my bday wish.

Great job keeping th predicted "big one" from hitting so cal

for those in the dark,I mentioned to Engel in the Shout Box
that there were a few "scientists"(loool) from a local so cal
college that predicted the "big un" to hit the San Andreas exactly
when Engel was to arriave in So Cal.
She then said "cool,I never felt a quake before,I always miss them"
right on cue the entire fault system goes almost completely dead
(excspt for the normal micro tremmors that happen every day)

So Cal luvs ya Engel big_smile
