Easiest way for severe weather to flake;
When I have 2 camera bodies out,one with my 24 1.4 and one with my 70-200 set up and metered for storm style lighting right next to me and available to grab the second I see something cool and pull over....
Because I will be driving right through one helll of an outbreak tomorrow

The next 7 days or so look like we could have rain any day really...and I have people wanting to schedule shoots.  Figures!

Again, which translates to our neck of the woods, that chance of rain could happen 6 am,6pm
1pm,ect and be correct and be done by the time of shoot
Raim percentages mean nothing to me this time of year, and we all know storms in the area often make wicked sunsets

Yes Chris...but an ill timed thunderstorm on hair, makeup, outfits and camera gear, not to mention the travel time and planning involved and then the drama of rescheduling can be a very bad thing.  I try to limit my exposure to such risks.  That's all I'm saying.  Leading up to a shoot I try to pay attention to the hour by hour forecasts 12-24 hours leading up to the shoot.

Would I like to have a shot with model, puffy red or purple clouds, lightning, sun rays bursting through a cloud, a double rainbow, a freshly rained on beach and no wind to mess up the hair and a dolphin jumping out of the water.....ummmm, yes!  The chance of that happening though is slim to none.  There seems to be a much greater chance of getting struck by lightning, equipment damaged, no good photos of model actually taken and the shoot never rescheduled.  So, I try to plan with the best chance of getting good shots of the model and then let everything else fall where it may.

If I had a model staying with me on the beach that I have shot a few times and was more of a muse...then yes, I would seek out the magical killer shots with rain, lightning, drama on the beach right outside my door...but that is a very different scenario.

It would be easy to if you wanted to...but it begs the question, what are you trying to accomplish?  My preference would be to get rid of the greenish-yellowish cast on the wall to just make it an off-white maybe but you can change it to anything you want.

THANKS EVERYONE smile

the wall is a pastel yellow originally lol..... but yeah after looking at the photos it certainly comes across as a bit green....

i was contemplating making it white,  or off white,  or darker as i'm just not thrilled with the shade...

the models skin tone is highly accurate to him though which was my goal.....

i also dont know if i like that you can see just a little wall texture,  not enough to have a cool texturey (technical term lol)  wall thing going,  but just enough to make it look unclean haha

maybe im being picky, i dunno... i need objectivity....
so if you guys shot this,  would you fix the wall?  smile

although side note i need to probably calibrate my new monitor which could be part of it with you guys seeing more green than i am... i mean it certainly looks greenish yellow to me lol

Maybe change the crop jest a bit (take some off the top) so the colour of the wall doesn't overpower the image quite so much  .  .  .  OR, jest add a layer with a LOUD paisley print on it to the wall section  .  .  .  then no one will even notice the colour of the wall  .  .  .  wink  Geeeeeeeezzzzzzz, Miss O is a hawt model, AND and accomplished photographer, I'm never gonna be able ta git no models to work with me no more  .  .  .

Question to Tampa area photographers: Do you have a hard time setting up a shoot with Tampa area models? The reason I ask is in the years I have been doing this- not one model I been able to work with out of Tampa. It just happen again.

No problems here.  It all comes down to the individual people you are trying to shoot and maybe a bit of bad luck?
