Very natural looking composition , it takes talent to add so many elements to a composition and make all of them fit so flawlessly that it looks like it was shot that way. Beautiful work!

"But are you pretty on the inside?"

I had to make a surrealist image in one of my classes w/ the idea of beauty / vanity in mind.  smile

Mirror: •masked shot cut and pasted in via paths     • hairline adjusted to smooth out mask lines     • fingers / body adjusted via liquify     • red / black / gray painted   • eye color changed to green

Chair:  • Body liquified and airbrushed       • eye color changed to green     • background blurred

For a seemingly average shot, there's something about it I find particularly appealing. The combination of the vintage color scheme, the old bicycle and the retro looking model is really cool.

It's the simplicity of it that makes it my favorite shot to date. Thank you very much.

I meant, can it still be considered a photo?  Some people don't like that it doesn't look photo realistic.

Beautiful work, out of curiosity did you do anything with the lips? I'm working on a similar photo rite now and am noticing the lips not having a very distinct line between lip color and face color? In your edit here the line looks very distinct and that's a look that I'm going for

Good mua gets most of the credit....

Did a black-masked HSL layer and popped the reds a bit and painted in the lips...think I blended to color, even though was HSL anyway. Last thing was using the sharpening tool at about 15% as a finisher after global output sharpening...CS5 has an excellent sharpening tool...older ones were destructive.

Again tho...good mua  good mua...  smile

That's not bad Lance, smooth skin (not overly done) and reasonably good color. I just got cs4 myself and loving it! Tell a little about the edit

It was shot on a blue satiny back ground and the model has had a child, so I edited out the stretch marks and tightened the belly up a bit with the liquify tool.  I have Vertus Fluid Mask 3 so it was easy to extract her from the image and place the new background behind her.  This was shot in my garage.

I don't keep much work, once i get myself an external HD, i will start saving my work more, but normally, once i am done with a project, i send the images and delete.

First hotrod shoot, didn't have a location, drove around, found a spot and then we brought the car with model.
I didn't really do to much with the editing, decreased the yellow and increased the green with selective color, then d&b rest was lighting.Main light camera right, fill light hitting model's back and left shoulder mother nature did the rest.

And a very very very bad business call. If one of my clients disks crashes, they know they can come to me and I will have that file we did in 2009 - THAT is after-sale service wink

No sweat.  Anyhoo, those who seemed to dig it when I first posted it didn't realize that a lot of the elements were painted in.  So I'm proud of that.

The background was bought and edited. Originally it was a mix of 3d and painting.
