I don't have a problem with duck face when people do it for fun for their FB. And when people actually think they are sexy doing it, I find it pretty funny.

So I guess... I enjoy duck face? I feel like the minority here.

There are many annoying things in the world today.

What I think is the most annoying is how people just abandon common sense and parrot what everyone else does and then shrug and say " I just have my own sense of style " because they hear everyone else say it.

Society is cyclical. Just like the crash of '29 was preceeded by the idiotic "roaring 20's" , we are set for another collapse, which my Grandfather mentally prepared me since birth. He is someone who got through the depression quite well. My grandmother got through the bolshevik revolution in one piece. Its in my DNA to survive and thrive.

So go ahead, everyone else, make your duck faces, with your $500 sunglasses,  post them online and sip your $4 lattes and $3 brownies (put it on your credit card) all while driving the [strike] Lexus[/strike] Toyota your parents financed with the equity from the house their parents left them.

Its all good.

Darwinism rules !!!!!!!

It's a bit much when it's being done by every girl in every photo though (as is the case in at least one of my girlfriend's sister's FB albums)!

OMG I just had a conversation with my friend about this. On a magazine there was an add for lipstick and one side had a day look *normal lips* and then for the night look the dreaded duck face! Hardcore duck face too, full out lemon sucker face. XD It was awesome.

Honestly, given the right shot, the right mood, right conditions, right everything, the duck face can make for a funny shot...but never serious. lol

I have the unfortunate luck of knowing people in life that don't only do the duck face in every photo, but they actually purposely draw attention to it by pointing a finger to their lips. I can only describe it as a sort of "shhh" motion, but the finger doesn't get in the way of what they think is attractive. The finger sits on an angle and below the lips as to not take the attention away from what they think is their best asset.

It amuses me even more that it makes their eyes sort of squint and scrunch up at the same time. I wish I could post a picture, but for obvious reasons (namely politely protecting their dignity), I can't. That coupled with what looks like a neck spraining head tilt, it's really a sight to see.

One of my best childhood friends does the duck face in every single picture she has on facebook.

One time her mom even said,"Why do you do that with your lips??"

....I think the duckface is funny in rare cases.... but in every single photo??????
