Cast comes off tomorrow. I saw my bruising in daylight yesterday and my cheeks are so yellow. I had no idea. Just a little blue and red under my eyes and slight swelling. I haven't had pain the whole time aside from mild headaches and rather annoying congestion. We'll see what tomorrow brings.

I used to not like my nose, and sometimes I still don't, but I've accepted it now.
I just love a defined look and my features are very round, especially my nose. It reminds me of a lightbulb lol.

I have to say, i love shooting models who have "Noble" (yes, that's what i call them tongue) noses. Unless it somehow deforms your face entirely - which i've never seen - having a larger-then-average nose is only a selling point, imo. It makes you more distinctive and unique, in a good way. It may - in some cases - discourage certain kinds of modeling, but me..i'm a fan smile.

From straight on the tip of my nose is super round. I love my nose from the side, but straight on it's rather large:

I've become pretty adept at subtle nose fixes in retouching.
Most models probably don't notice the change except in closeups.

I got my dad's facial features for the most part, especially the big Italian nose! I used to be very self conscious of my nose and my ears (they stick out a bit, but now I like the elven appearance to them), but the more I model the more I love my features and am proud of them.

Also I am very lucky that having the feminine version of my dad's face is perfectly proportioned in relation to each other, so it's not like a T-rex. I never have to worry about saying "I have a big nose and a little face!" lol

If you have the confidence it shows. *go to make Springheel happy and post nose photos* Wow I have a lot of photos where you can see my nose! lol
Here's a top three currently in my portfolio!

I have a Turkish nose, it is not too large but has a bridge. I won't make funny comments like ''big noses are sexy yeah!'' because they sound more like you are trying to hide some insecurity about yourself smile But i am okay with my nose. So are my agency and clients. To be honest, I think it is okay as long as it is symmetric or not like... super large for agency modelling. Just be okay with yourself smile

I'm surprised not one black model has posted in this thread.  When I saw the title, I thought more of flat, wide noses, most commonly associated with people of African descent.

Anyway, my dad is white, my mom is black, white and Native American.  She had what we called a "banana nose" and I have it as well, but not as bad.

It is the one thing I would get plastic surgery for, just to even out the bump.  That's why I never take profile pictures.

My parents screwed me over for the big nose department.

People either immediately peg me as italian, or jewish (Im the former). Its bothered me my whole life. Usually these days I dont care so much but occasionally I have a pick-apart-my-face-day and I find every little thing wrong. I might not hate it so much if it werent also crooked (so are my ears, eyebrows, and lips. I cant wear dangly earrings or you can really notice that ones a lot lower than the other, have to be careful with plucking my eyebrows and doing my makeup to compensate for the rest)

I have a larger nose, used to want surgery but I've grown to quite like it! I'm told it's proportional to the rest of my face so it works, and it's never been an issue with photographers.

I actually have a pretty terrible side profile because of it. This is the only somewhat decent photo I have side profile-wise, that's why almost all of my photos are front facing or 3/4. If I could get it fixed I would, but I'm scared to go under the knife...I'll just live with it and work angles I know I can pull off.

I hate my nose...probably 90% of the time. Photographers have told me there is nothing wrong with it, so I guess that's good (some have said it gives me character). I just have always hated it, I think it's too big and too wide, not very feminine either. But, I don't see it as a possibility to get it "fixed", so I'm trying to accept it for what it is.

im italian and while i dont have exactly a big nose.. i have a tiny face and a pointy nose. not at all like most women. I used to get made fun of for it but in time i discovered that if i had any other nose i would look funny. my nose may be unique but it looks good on me and thats all i care about.
I have no issues with larger nosed women.

I think one's nose is the main foundation/structure of one's face that makes it attractive.

I haven't read this all.

But I have a problem with the assumption that girl with a nose that isn't a button has to "work" at doing something to make her sexy or attractive. Faces are interesting. Noses are awesome.

Be beautiful.

And I love a face with character and flavor.

I have to agree with VanTuck - and add that style involves so much more than any particular body part. I cannot imagine nose reduction surgery, or breast enhancement for that matter, when the sight of a gal or guy who works with what they have with style is so much more impressive...B

I wouldn't say I've got a *big* nose, but I have the bump, thanks to my extraordinarily ethnic-looking father. I'm the unique one in my family though- my brothers' noses are gloriously huge. None of us have ever felt insecure about it though, and I've never felt my bump has negatively impacted my modeling.

I did know a family of 6 however who ALL had surgery to reduce nose sizes. My friend, who was one of the kids in the family, described the ordeal in gruesome detail and said it was just expected that he would have it because his entire family did. He also mentioned that his teenage sister used to cry whenever she looked in the mirror because of her nose. I think that's truly messed up.

Not really big but bumpy, my peers a few years ago used to laugh that I would have looked great on ancient Roman coins. I learned to kind of love it over the years, starting from complete loathing smile
