This is a good picture but does not show anything about your MU efforts - https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/36370470. I suggest you build a diverse port on TFCD.

I'm still having too much fun with this to screw it up by turning it into a job, but I'm curious to get your opinion on what rate I might ask if approached for a commercial gig.

It may be time to turn pro and start charging at least about $100/hr. Just make sure you do not go overboard with your retouching work.

Exactly - why mess it up by putting price. ENjoy the art. TFCD is a good thing - nothing negative about it.

Shadows can be good things. He demonstrates pretty decent control of lighting. Where the shadows are strong they add to the impact of the image. And indeed several images have extensive shadow control thru fill. I can't see where he would benefit from this suggestion. Care to take a crack at me? Are you taking into account the difference in pricing structure between editorial and advertising? Or are you thinking about averaging the two?

What is this picture doing in your port - https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/35163674 This could be ranked one of the worst in entire MM. How about building a professional looking port on TFCD. Sorry if my remarks are curt - but a pretty girl like yourself should be well presented as well to start making money.

Mr. Howell: My ratings are my personal opinion only - based on how much I am willing pay someone if he/she were in DC. Averaging all commercial and non-commercial work. I love your play with lights and shadows. You apparently also have excellent post production support. I would pay you about $100/hr.

photo tech wrote: Yes, please. Beautiful concepts and nice port. But educate me on what were trying to accomplish on the brightness/contrast ratio in this picture - https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/35689962 ... It potentially creates doubt in the viewers mind and in my opinion brings your rate down to about $45/hr.
