I know her and the photographer she is talking about.. LMFAO

Kelly Anne-Marie wrote: Why does it even matter, what lake? It's off topic. No, most certainly not off topic, then anyone of us could then help you find out how to gleen this information for yourself so you won't have issues like this in the future. Because if you know the name of the lake and you know how easily it is to look up any information based upon the name. It would of been a simple matter to find out all you needed to know prior to leaving for said lake.

But if you never told him you were uncomfortable and you shot with him anyway you just confirmed with him your ok with his behavior... so expect next time to be even freakier.... His did you expect him to know you were uncomfortable with his actions if you didn't speak up? telepathy?

Kelly Anne-Marie wrote: Times like this is when I wish I did bring an escort. I had a shoot with a photographer that asked me to do a shoot at a lake which I agreed to, unknowingly that it was a nudist lake. He talked of this lake in the past but called it by it's other name which, by that name he told me was a nudist lake. We went to this lake together in his car (which the lake was a few hours away), my suitcase of clothes and all! Nothing was mentioned about it being a nudist lake all the way there. We got to go parking lot of the lake and I grabbed my suitcase of clothes and we started to the lake, when I seen a naked man walking by! I said "WTF!?" and the photographer said "Oh, this is _________ ____________ .", Which by that name I knew was a nudist lake. I figured to stay calm and just model in clothes since I didn't agree to a nude shoot. Everything was fine when I told him that I was goig to go get dressed for the shoot. When I got done dressing I met up with him at the shoot location to find him NUDE! He said "Are you o.k. with this?". Well, I figured I had no choice but to say "Sure.", since he was my ride and I couldn't walk hours back to my town. Anyway, I felt very uncomfortale during the WHOLE shoot with a "BUTT NAKED" photographer!!! Are there times a photographer made you feel uncomfortale?, If so does it happen often? How do you handle it? P.S. I shot with him many times prior with no behavior like this . Wait...was this a nudist lake?? Honestly, you're a grown woman. If someone makes you feel uncomfortable, put on your big girl pants and say something. The man asked you, according to your story, if you were okay with him shooting nude. Your response, again according to your story, was "Sure." Yet now you're going to flame him in a public forum?? Communication is a two-way street. Sure, he could have given you more details about the shoot, but then again YOU could have ASKED him for more details. Do you honestly need to ask random strangers how you should communicate with other people? Most of us learned these skills either during or shortly after high school. You really need to find your voice.

Came to his defense about what exactly? You saying his action was ok with you so he continued to do them? Was he supposed to telepathically figure out that you lied to him? Yes, I do believe he was right in doing what he could to make sure you were comfortable. His asking if you were alright, was a good thing. Him complying with your spoken wishes "yes, im ok with this" is a good thing.

We're trying to help you. The second part of your question was and I quote you here was "how do you handle it". We handled it by not allowing ourselves to get into those types of situations, by using the tools at our disposal, looking up informationa prior to a shoot, by asking questions, and by voicing our concerns when we do have issues.

I think you should've brought up "We're not shooting nude right?" when you saw the naked man walked by.. But the real blame is the "Photographer" and him "failing" to mention this in the first place.

But if the OP thought that part was out of line, then why did she continue the photoshoot to begin with? and why did she let him continue buttnaked? I mean really, that's like a photographer starting to touch your boobs, asking if you're okay with it and you saying "sure, go ahead", and then afterwards going "booboobooo he touches my boobs". if you're not comfortable, speak up!

Because she likes to make up outlandish stories as a means of getting attention. Next week she'll be writing about how a photographer tried to feel her up through their space suits while they were shooting on the moon.

While I understand what you are getting at, it does no good to respond this way...If you wanted to know only the answer to your questions, just ask the questions and don't give us the long story and expect people to not react to what you wrote, especially when part of it is kind of hard to understand or make sense of. It sounds like you kind of knew he talked about a nudist lake before? Its all kind of weird. On another note...What kind of shoot was agreed upon? Maybe because you have a nude in your port and talk about doing nudes and implieds, he thought you would not have a problem with nudity? If you were surprised and shocked by him being nude (I certainly would have been), you should have just told him to please put his clothes back on...he would have gotten the message and you would not have been out of line for asking him to do so. In other words, don't let yourself get into an uncomfortable situation. In all of the years I have been modeling, I have only had one uncomfortable moment and I shut it down right away...just my 2 cents.

In the future do not lie and put yourself in situations where you arent comfortable. Say "NO I'm not comfortable with this" even if it means ending a shoot. At least it's weird when a photographer chooses a nudist location for a shooting without telling this explicitely and in time. For the simple reason that a nude model does not have to reckon the photographer will be naked too during the shooting. (By the way: I never heard of a nudist location where taking photographs is a welcome activity...)

First naked dude walking by.... big alarm bell right there. I'm thinking the alarm bell is maybe the size of a lunch box (no pun intended). Naked photographer........ another, bigger, alarm bell. Size comparable to say a small 3 bedroom house. Bottom line: Naughty photographer. Silly OP. In reality: probably never actually happened. We need to see photos.

I've had models strip down to nothing and walk around my house before. Seems like it's kinda part of the industry. I just handed them a robe, and didn't make a big deal out of it.
