Anyone getting anything good for someone else? I know I have a really tough time keeping presents a surprise for the people I get them for, so I thought I could share some of them here to keep me from spoiling it for them. Then I realized I wanted everyone else to have a place to share the presents they were getting for others if they so chose, so here we are. For the boyfriend: Game of Thrones playing cards, a T-Shirt with a quote from Tyrion with the Lannister house emblem on it (he's a big GoT fan, and Tyrion is his favorite character), some body wash that we both like the smell of, and a set of resistance bands for him to use when he works out. Oh, and probably a mushy card or something like that. My sisters (3 of them) are each getting a body wash, shampoo, and conditioner from Bath and Body Works, and probably something small and handmade by me. Mom and Stepdad: Gift card for a restaurant they really like, movie passes for The Hobbit, and an offer to watch my younger sister for a few hours so they can go on a date. Dad and Stepmom: Restaurant gift card and a nice card. Best friend (that lives out of state): A foot spa and a bunch of miscellaneous spa items (she's a dancer, so her feet are her livelihood, and if I know her, I know she's probably not as kind to them as she could be). Ahem: Okay, so my mom is getting (you'll notice a theme here) from me: Wii Fit balance board (with feet things to raise it higher, rechargeable battery pack, and a jelly cover) Wii Fit game  My Fitness Coach Wii game  nice perfume  a handmade clear glass ornament with aged paper curled inside, with christmas carols on each strip, in different fonts/sizes. No photo because I'm still making it (it's a week long process). an LV iPad case (real, a friend of a friend has rich parents, her mom bought it to go with her iPad, and decided she hated using the iPad, and so gave the case to her daughter, who is smart and has the MS Surface  So I eventually inherited it).  my bro Jamie is getting: a NICE multi-tool with a little hammer on the end (from me)  a Sons of Anarchy hat (from me)  and some video game that I don't remember the name of (from my mom) my bro Jeremy is getting: a set of record coasters (from me)  and some game called Dirt 3 from my mom. My nephew!!! is getting (a lot!!): Zany Zoo Wooden Activity Cube (from me)  Spiderman hoodie with black pants (from me)  several smaller toys like a semi truck that has animals that make their respective noises on the side as well as the typical honk, steam engine, etc sounds. a giant mr potato head (from me):  a lil lightning mcqueen power wheels (from my mom):  he's getting other stuff, but those are the big ones. my sister in law is getting: a NOOK Simple Touch (from my mom)  and a case & book light for it (from me) Dec 07 12 01:02 pm Link Becks wrote: See? He likes the practical gifts. 2) The safe: the newest book in the Dresden files- which he has every single book of (he's banned from making purchases for himself for the entire month, so it's safe). 3) The best Zombie paper shooting targets. He has to keep up with his shooting as a law enforcement officer and practicing stuff gets pricey. Plus we LOVE the Walking Dead and he is into zombies. Now he can practice for the zombie apocalypse! I hope to god nobody else went in to try to get a serious portrait taken because...its awful I just picked up my prints. none of us (me, the dog, or santa) are in focus, theyre sideways and the ceiling wasnt cropped out. Its a really good thing that I think this makes it even more funny.
