I didn't have the opportunity of knowing her but she was loved by many.  She has a little girl, husband and so many friends and family she leaves behind.  https://www.modelmayhem.com/653841

So young! Does anyone know what happened ?

Also, the mods can put a notice up on the port which indicates she has passed.

If you can forward the obituary or any documentation to

http://ripoffreport.com.php

They will take care of it.

Very sorry to hear.

she went in for flu symptoms the first of this week, and until then never knew she had leukemia and from what I was told was given 24 hours to live.  She made it 2 days after they told her that and passed tonight

Yes it is - but only if you catch it in time.  Makes me wonder what the state of her health coverage was.

Wow.. My ex fiancé died of the very same thing recently. There's a rapid form of the disease that comes on so quickly that it's not treatable. My condolences!

I know a few people who have been diagnosed and successfully treated. One as a child and one as almost a senior citizen. Both had symptoms that led them to treatment fairly quickly.

My condolences to her and her family. About twenty years ago I met someone who had leukemia. Two months later she was dead. It is a serious disease to say the least. It's most fatal incaranation is acute myeloid leukemia, AML (The Britsh favour FAB classifications)which is probably what took out the MM model. It gives flu-like symptoms and its victim bruises easily as it wrecks incredibly dangerous havoc. It explodes its abnormal type of white cell favourite, derived from precusory white cells, the kind that have no immune-fighting ability and throws a molecular wrench in the production of normal cells.

The immune system rapidly collapses. AML is divided into types and is not like the chronic leukemias that some people have heard of. Some AMLs can be treated, if caught in time. With others, the progression is so rapid that there's not much time to turn it around.

I looked at her facebook page, which was eerie. On Jan 15 she presented red bruising on her legs from a pole workout. Rather extensive and unusual. Unusual bruises are sometimes a sign of AML.  On Jan 19, she put up a photo, with either blood makeup or post-work added.

She had no idea of the monster inside her. AML can be extremely sudden.
