I hope her family will be ok. That's sad. Feb 22 13 06:44 am Link My condolences to her and her family. About twenty years ago I met someone who had leukemia. Two months later she was dead. It is a serious disease to say the least. It's most fatal incaranation is acute myeloid leukemia, AML (The Britsh favour FAB classifications)which is probably what took out the MM model. It gives flu-like symptoms and its victim bruises easily as it wrecks incredibly dangerous havoc. It explodes its abnormal type of white cell favourite, derived from precusory white cells, the kind that have no immune-fighting ability and throws a molecular wrench in the production of normal cells. The immune system rapidly collapses. AML is divided into types and is not like the chronic leukemias that some people have heard of. Some AMLs can be treated, if caught in time. With others, the progression is so rapid that there's not much time to turn it around. R.I.P. Feb 22 13 06:56 am Link Eliza C wrote: I feel the same. Feb 22 13 06:59 am Link I looked at her facebook page, which was eerie. On Jan 15 she presented red bruising on her legs from a pole workout. Rather extensive and unusual. Unusual bruises are sometimes a sign of AML. On Jan 19, she put up a photo, with either blood makeup or post-work added. She had no idea of the monster inside her. AML can be extremely sudden.
