Frank, hope you're better...over two weeks for me with this crap now also...and my asthma kicking my arse is the worst of it...

Well, most of my January was spent sick in the house. It's been over for a couple of weeks now. Next year I just might get the flu shot. Or maybe not...

I am sorry to hear Frank. There has been a lot of flu here in Sebring, glad you are on the upswing.

I was taking no chances this flu season.  I got the senior flu shot and the pneumonia shot.  I've had the flu in the past and was totally miserable!    smile

Yesterday I lost my virginity -
I did something I’ve never done before in the 55 plus years i’ve been shooting

I paid a model to pose for me solo, not as part of a group.
What a refreshing difference between a model who knows how to pose, and how to pick wardrobe for a location, vs the wannabe models who lack adequate experience and smoothness of posing.

Vero Beach, FL had an air show last weekend, featuring the Blue Angels, flying f18 Hornets, so I took a pic of a grey F16 Viper!

Good capture, Charlie. I like that you captured the vapor ring around the jet intake. Well done.

Over the weekend we were at Atlanta/Peachtree Airport for the Dixie Wing of the CAF's WWII Heritage Days. A Huey, P-51, B-17, T-6, T-34, and a Bell P-63 were there. Plus there were several groups of re-enactors in attendance. I'll be posting images as I get them edited. The model who is my avatar posed with several aircraft late Saturday.

Wait till you get my age and you no longer wonder what year it is...

I find it hard to believe it’s been 19 years since the world was worried about Y2K

I’ve been retired a dozen years and gave little to brag about accomplishing, other than staying alive.

Went to the MacDill Airfest today. An OK event but not the best airshow I've ever been to.

Not my picture, but this AC-130 Spectre came all the way from Arkansas.
