I hate New Years and the 4th of July. I can deal with the fireworks ok. But I have a real problem with the gunfire. If I'm not hyper-aware of my reactions, I tend to get freaked out and it brings back bad memories.

Yeah. At New Year's and July 4th I worry about that bullet coming down through the ceiling. Dumb asses who fire their guns in the air don't seem to understand that gravity is a constant. We have a friend who was hit at Mardi Gras. The bullet entered the back of her shoulder and exited near her waist.

In the meantime: Outside, it's colder than a well diggers ass!

Not just Gasparilla, but the Knight parade to boot....always a joy to wade through the dredges of Ybor for some beads...ugh. If I wasn't in the parade, wouldn't be anywhere near it.
