I'm sorry. I couldn't help it. smile

But really, I'm thinking about buying an epilator. I'm sick of shaving (not just the hoo-ha... legs, arm pits, the whole nine) aaanyway, they're like 70 dollars, so I wanted to make sure I'm not throwing my money away before I buy one.

Any ladies (or gentlemen) use these gadjets before? Worth the money? Effective? Painful? Any particular brands you recommend?

Thanks!

I think it'd take one of those nose hair trimmers to be able to shave in there.

LOL @ Spade

Go get waxed, the epilady thing is worthless.  I wouldn't even do it on my legs.

I was about to weigh in on this topic, but I see you ladies have it all under control.

Carry on.

Yeah, I wanted to get waxed. It doesn't itch if you wax it, does it?

So far I've only shaved...kinda irritating.

Cremes don't do the job. big_smile

Do one strand at a time, it's relaxing.

Waxing stings for a second, but it quickly becomes numb...at least in my experience.

It stays smoother longer, I don't get ingrown hairs when I do it, and it doesn't itch.

Don't you have to let it grow in before you can have it redone though?

It does for me.  I have ultra sensative skin.  And it makes me smooth.

I think anatomy lessons should be considered,
unless you really want to shave internally.

There's a reason why the Epilator sounds like a doomsday device from a bad sci-fi novel...  it's a freakin' torture device.

My wife bought one and the trial run went something like this...

"Ow...   DAMN....   grrrr...  AAAHHHRRGG!"  This was followed up by a sound that was probably akin to that of a tortured wild animal.
