hmmm....tough crowd. We'll I turned the light on this stage so I guess you want me to show mine first. I'll go see what I've got that you can't beat and I'll be back in a few...years... OK, I'm back. Shot #1~ Took this chance shot in high noon bright sun. Took one exposure and decided the light was too harsh to continue. Upper 1/4 of image frame was blown. Painted detail in to the sky, antenna, and roof line of the building. Stole a few Dragan moves then finished with a pen and paint. Shot #2 Client wanted their band to look as though they were on a stage playing a classic rock concert. They wanted Zeplin drums, Emerson and Wakeman keyboards, Marshall amps across back of stage, etc. About 100 hours shoot/edit start/finish. Shot # 3 Playboy's Reby Sky for her classical piano cd. Exposed in available light then ripped off a few Dragan moves and finished with paint and pen. 1 2 3

Just can't let a first page go beggin' Lessee... what do I have that's not been shopped? If explanations are needed, let's go with "I haven't seen any twin models on the runways yet", or how about "I need to make a thirds pic, how about duplicating the rocks to double the image?"... As a gener'l rule, you want layers? I make my stinkin' layers!

Craig Seay wrote: WELCOME to Model Mayhem's DIGITAL ARTIST of the Week~ a competition based platform on which we promote the digital art of all participating Model Mayhem members who with tablet, pen and mouse in hand are doing so much to creatively enhance our photographic arts!!
This competition is open to all MM members who work in digital art, whether they be thought of or classified as "Photographers, "Digital Artists", "Photoshop Wizards", "Retouchers", Artist/Painters, etc. At year's end all our weekly winners will be entered in our Model Mayhem sponsored "MM DIGITAL ARTIST of the YEAR 2010", a final competition for a chance at supreme recognition and awesome prizes!! This new competition works basically in the same way that our others do but please read "Thee Rules" section before submitting your entry. Thee Rules: 1. You must submit 3 images in which you are the sole digital artist/retoucher/image editor. Images should be appropriately sized (we suggest no more than 750 pixels horizontal or 800 pixels vertical). By entering this competion you are stating that you have full copyright, or have obtained permission from the copyright holder to post images here and that you will assume any and all liability, including but not limited to, the removal of any image a contest administrator feels does not comply with our objectives. No 18+ images or links are permitted. 2. You may enter this competition only once per contest, Tuesday through Saturday (Eastern-Pacific standard time zones), and you may enter each consecutive competition, no matter how many "wins" you have been awarded. 3. Voting will begin with the "vote banner" on Sunday morning, at or shortly after 12:00am EST, and will close on Tuesday morning, at or after 12:00am EST with the closing banner. No image submissions are accepted during the voting process so please hold your next entry until voting closes. 4. Any MM member may cast ONE vote per competition, but competitors may not vote for themselves, or solicite by any means, votes for themselves or for any competitor (vote stacking). If a contest administrator suspects vote stacking has occurred, either by the entrant, or by anyone who favors the entrant, the entry in question will be disqualified. This is not a popularity contest so let's keep the playing field level and the competition clean. 5. Winners will be announced and posted, along with a new banner, each Tuesday. This banner may also be posted by the winner on the winner's profile page (if that option is available at the winner's level of membership). 6. Contest admins may enter but may not vote when they have an entry in play. 7. Once an image has been submitted, please do not resubmit the same image for at least 14 days (2 consecutive contests) following submission of that image. We encourage that you take this competition seriously but let's keep it fun...NO DRAMA please~!! Any violation of the rules of this contest may result in the disqualification of an entry and repeated violations will result in a permanent ban of the offending member from this competition. For inquiries please feel free to contact us. xandx ~ Contest Administrator Craig Seay ~ Contest Administrator HELP US PROMOTE by *posting these banner links to your profile page!! I just got back in town from traveling with the band and had not anticipated the extra day out when I agreed to let my daughter use my laptop this weekend. I should be back this morning with the composite of eligible numbered entries before you start casting your votes~!! We apologize for the delay.
