Photography has always been a passion of mine, but having once weighed 370 lbs, I was always the photographer, never the model. In May 2003, I underwent gastric bypass surgery and lost 225 lbs going from a size 7X to an XS/S, Misses 4/6. In modeling, I enjoy no longer just hiding behind the camera, and in modeling, it's improved my abilities as a photographer (and vice versa).
I am a certified personal trainer and am very curvy and muscular especially on my upper body, and what some might call "ripped" (when I flex). My lower half of my body still has some remaining excess skin, so my muscles are not obvious. In clothing, no one would know that I ever had a weight problem. Without clothing, I have scarring from three rounds of reconstructive surgeries along with remaining excess skin especially on my thighs.
These days, my interest is primarily as photographer, not model (though I still do a lot of self portraits as a means of self-expression). I am still open to modeling, but am not accepting TFCD/TFP at this time unless your work is outstanding and will help to develop my port for future paid shoots.
My rates vary upon assignment and are reasonalble. I am comfortable doing nudes (including the photographing of my scars) in a studio environment though not anything that would be considered pornographic or just for the sake of nudity. Any photos should respectful of me and my body despite its faults.
I am usually available to shoot during weekdays and am willing to travel providing my expenses are paid for. As mentioned, photography comes first for me, and I am willing to help other photographers learn as I model for them, and to a great extent will expect to have input in the shoot as I am not interested in creating anything substandard.
