Since it's Friday the 13th an all. Here's some I can think of. Borrowing of course from many of the silly superstitions I heard growing up.

- Don't utter the camera's brand name in vain

- If you accidentally spill light, throw film containers over left shoulder

- (for short togs) It's bad luck to walk under the 6 foot tall model

LOL! I'm never gonna get a job at NASA coming up with stuff like this.

Friday the 13th

Never aim your camera at a ugly person..it might be you you're photographing
Never say Chessebuger and expert a vegetarian to smile
Never turn your back to an exhibtionist for you might be shocked when you turn around
Never say one more shot for you will upset your subject matter
Never ask anyone to pose nude if you are not willing to let them take a naked picture of you
Never say you are sorry fo things you think, just don't say them out loud

Never take a self portrait by holding the camera up facing towards you.

No superstition, just NEVER do it.

That is all.

A sunrise shoot planned 60 or more days in advance will result in a cloudy morning.

Macro shots of snow-covered leaves against a cloudy sky background will not result in the kind of resolution you envisioned.

Hearing or uttering, "That's what Photoshop is for," is an omen of a very bad shot.

That’s fact, not superstition!  One year I went back east for most of June.  Models had been engaged for out door sessions.  It rained every day until the day after I left.
