when models pose with guns....(it is so stupid)
wtf motherfucking frankenpost. Jan 13 13 03:40 pm Link StevieSteve wrote: lol Jan 13 13 03:51 pm Link Gun enthusiasts take those pictures so they can beat off to both at the same time. Jan 13 13 07:02 pm Link i posed with a gun because the photographer asked me to. should i have just told him no because that would be cheesy? lol Jan 13 13 07:33 pm Link Digital Photo PLUS wrote: Jan 13 13 07:34 pm Link Art of CIP wrote: The bottom line is; a true artist can still make that image a great one Jan 13 13 07:35 pm Link Docta Shock Photografix wrote: this ^ Jan 13 13 07:37 pm Link Art of CIP wrote: Docta Shock Photografix wrote: Agreed, taking something as cheesey as that concept and presenting it in the context of Art reveals the utter absurdity of said context in an intellectual framework normally reserved for creativity. Art that makes people point, stare, and laugh is just as valid as Art that makes people think and feel good about existence. Sometimes Art needs to poke fun at the lame stuff out there. It's all good! Jan 13 13 10:14 pm Link I beg to disagree as evidenced by my avatar. The gun was not loaded for several reasons, one of which was she was pointing it at me. Another photo shows the same model with a long rifle and her hand is covering the trigger lock. Jan 14 13 07:47 am Link I once photograph a model which she had an idea theme of cyborgs and guns. It sounded interesting but I really did it because she was bringing in a friend to model also and I worked before with her and she had an out of this world look. I went ahead and shot her with her guns but after posting one in my port I decided to take it down. It didn't mix too well in the port but to each their own. Jan 14 13 07:59 am Link Jan 14 13 08:03 am Link Yay necropost! Gun photos are not nearly as bad as lousy railroad tracks, caution tape, or handbra pics. Some are done very well and I love them. Some look cheesy as hell. It all depends on who's working on both sides of the camera. Jan 14 13 08:04 am Link when models pose with guns....(it is so stupid) FUR SURE... it's only cool when they have hot blonde escorts... Jan 14 13 08:10 am Link Jan 14 13 08:13 am Link Not everyone can pull it off, but as a general rule, cheesy/lame. Weapons in general Nice See the difference? *Sorry unknown person from internet, I don't mean any harm but hey* VV Jan 14 13 08:13 am Link Accidental Plateau wrote: You are absolutely right! Jan 14 13 05:29 pm Link Our "sexy secretary drops into alien world with her shotgun" comic was absurd and did as well as hoped. Jan 14 13 05:30 pm Link Absolutely agree with the OP, most of the time it looks dumb and tacky to say the least! Jan 14 13 05:30 pm Link Damianne wrote: But, on the other hand, that is very cool! Jan 14 13 05:47 pm Link That comic has a lot of posing finger on the trigger, and since the little toy gun is so short (yes, that's a blue and orange water shotgun thing IRL), lots of shooting it in positions that if I shot a real shotgun like that, it would smack me in the face or fly out of my hands. Not able to get the butt on my shoulder in a way that would look good, so lots of "play pretend that would work out for the sake of fiction" action. It's fun though, and it's pretty. Kind of like that Angelina Jolie movie with all the bullet bending. Jan 14 13 05:52 pm Link When photographers shoot models holding guns... (it is so...!!!) ETA: Holy Dinosaur Thread Batman! I wish local DA's would enforce existing laws. If it is a real gun, arrest the model for posessing it if they are not military, LEO, or otherwise legally allowed to posses it. If the weapon is on the owners permit, revoke the owners permit for not securing the weapon and allowing someone to handle it in an improper way. That is the sort of gun laws and enforcement society needs. Unless you were lawfully issued or own the weapon, do not ever pose with it. And do not ever pose with it pointed at anyone or otherwise handling it in a improper manner. Unless intended for training material or marketing. If the weapon is displayed for some sort of storyline, then it should never be a real weapon. Always a prop gun. Any owner of a weapon who allows it to be used as a prop needs to have their rights taken away for failing to secure the weapon. Thats why we have problems with guns. it is the people not the guns. It makes the difference in if the shot is pulled off or not. A shot that requires a firearm(gangster, warrior, whatever) the llama male or female should be holding it correctly so it looks natural. I see a lot of shots that if the llama had not been holding the arm incorrectly it would have been a better picture. People are allowed their opinion, mine as a gun owner and enthusiast is I care if they are handled properly. Feb 02 13 12:59 pm Link Feb 02 14 11:10 pm Link |
