Maybe there is a new rule that instead of a DQ for "not clearly flaccid" there is a penalty of one or more points?

Not being serious but it is the first time I have seen this.

Here's why...

When an entry is disqualified after the close of voting the standings are rewritten, but the final contest standings are not written to the Winners Gallery.
This is a known bug and its been reported many times to MM/IB tech people. They have yet to fix the bug.

Maybe I had to make a decision...
The only way to correct this is to remove 1 of the 2 images
Neither is a violation of the rules...
Neither shows any irregularities in the voting...
My decision - leave them both.

If you feel my decision is incorrect, please tell me which of the two images I should remove... (and I'll forward all the hate mail I will receive to YOU to answer wink)

I submitted a pic to the 18+ female contest yesterday.  Usually I check the tool later to make sure it shows up and got submitted ok.  I am not seeing it. Tried to resubmit last night and the site said I had a photo already entered, so looks like the photo is entered.  It looks like the tool is not displaying it though.

My only answer so far from the great jojo is I DON'T KNOW?  Come on Gurls. This place is scary. The only answer is I don't know...and blame it on Contest Code. I smell rotten fish

Yes the results shown on sendu for the past few days are not correct.  Yet another "bug" I suppose.....

Moderator Note!
Update:

Friday Sept 5
Several updates were made to the contest code.
The updates did not work as planned.
The programmers went home for the weekend.

Monday Sept 8
The programmers appear to have corrected some of the problems.
I have not had a chance to check everything.

Sendu
Sendu is a private member who wrote, and hosts on his server, the Sendu contest utilities.

When IB changes the contest code sometimes the changes render the Sendu utilities inoperable.... and that's where we stand at this moment.

Things are being fixed.

I just re-entered the same image tonight (9-8-14) that appeared in the contest on 9-7-14, although I didn't discover it until after the fact.  The image never showed up on sendu, which led to my confusion, and this double entry mistake.

Please pull the image, as it violates the rules.  'Sorry.

I am so confused. In today's selection for voting there is a shot of a clothed woman being chocked out by a man and an image of a an entirely clothed woman.

We need to rethink what is acceptable here and yes I will beat that damn dead horse but these open leg crotch shots are out of control. But then that is just my opinion.

Today's Male 18+ POTD looks really odd to me - when I click on 18+ it should show me recent winners, but in that I see two photos with today's date on them and clicking on either of them shows me the current vote count for today's images.  I am confused.

On the 18+ winner summary page, the two images showing for today's date are not the top vote getters either.  Huh?

IB you should suspend all contest, that has to do with your squirrel codes. for real.

And on that note, should IB suspend the entire site until everything is working perfectly?

Not going to happen. Computer code is NEVER perfect.
There is not a site on the internet... for that matter even internet is not perfect and always reliable.

The contest code is in perpetual transition, and will always be.
Some tweaks to the code will shine, some will totally suck.

Our job is to soldier on and make the best of what we have.

Only one winner (the one with the greater vote count)
The other is displayed in error.

It sure does, how do these images get passed for the contests....I have noticed lately how trashy the male 18+ contest has got, with images that in no way show any creativity or professionalism, just shoddy downright tacky photos.  The slippery slope me thinks.....

But usually the tacky and shoddy images are taken care of in the voting. Very seldom do bad photos win. I think we can safely leave it to the voters in the contest to decide what are good photos in what are not.

I guess so, but it does bring the level down rather....and selfies in the contests should not be allowed...I thought they were not allowed anyway?

I agree. I think this one violates the rules.  I myself have had photos DQd for much less. But it got very few votes.
You know Steve you can and should CAM this. and JoJo can make a ruling. Posting in this forum is an inefficient way to do this. A CAM will get to her quicker.

Lately I have been CAMing about entries appearing on subsequent days. I have been told it was a glitch that is being fixed. But my point is I got a quick response from the Contest Mods.  And you can put the link to the offending image in your CAM.

Thanks for that....yes I do CAM and get fast responses...I will this and see what happens.  I thought that contest entries were checked?  This entry kind of bares out what I said earlier about the contests, whether they get low or not, they should not get through.

Check out the banner at the top of every page. There is a list of links starting with Main and ending with My Stuff. The 6th link is to the Contests. Click on that one and it will take youstraight to  all 3 contests.

Regarding the  "Implied" forum contest. This is confusing for everyone. I notice more and more people are entering implied images as 18+ "Just in case it gets flagged" Since there are no real absolute site wide  standards as to what is implied or 18+ (its left up to the subjective judgement of each individual mod) So would not if an image IS 18+ would that not disqualify it from competition?  If it does not disqualify it then why DQ images that are submitted for "implied"?

I THINK this is an image that was disqualified the other day I cannot remember for I am old and forgetful. 18+????http://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/140604/12/538f6f9a76aa1.jpg  18+??? Please give us some guidelines if this is consider an "implied" or 18+ image thanks in advance for your advice.

Another solution is to have a forum contest for 18+ images, but then some think that there are too many contests proliferating all over the place!  smile

It seems most if not all of the forum contests have adopted the rule that if you don't vote for any reason your entry gets disqualified from winning. I just declined to accept a win in one of the contests by default because that is really not a win. I did not pay much attention to the discussion previously and I am not sure exactly how this came about or how much input from the members here was considered. I disagree with this rule and will not accept or display any award from such a default decision.

Yes that image would of gotten DQ,d
the reason for it would be quite simply
- pubic area (whether hair is present or not)
there is a full list of image rules found here .
https://www.modelmayhem.com/help/rules/images

All images on the site have to abide by these rules wether they are entered into a contest or not .
