If your noob model is uncomfortable with her chest, then shoot nude pictures of her wearing a shirt.

Semi-clothed, bottomless poses can be very attractive and sexy.

She gets the privacy of modesty and the fun of a nude photo shoot.

---

Pick her brains. Build upon what she considers her strengths, and avoid what she thinks are her weaknesses. That's part of our job as photographers.

Turn her chest away from the camera. Shoot her figure, .. her back, legs, hair, etc.

If that one part of her anatomy bugs her, then work around it until she builds her confidence with all the great photos you are going to make with her.

Hug a pillow, or cover her chest with anything else convenient. Show off her butt.

I myself am also considering augmentation. It won't be happening for awhile because it is not a priority and I have other things to be saving up for at this time.

I want a breast job not for anyone else myself. The main reason is I adore corsets, the original ones, with metal in them, but with my small chest, no matter HOW tight I can get the corset I still have nothing to "pop" out the top.

But as most everyone else stated, breast augmentation is not something you want to scrimp on. Also, very important to anyone who is considering it. You have to make sure your plastic surgeon is board certified because there have been many horror stories of non certified surgeons doing augmentation.

I don't think I'm going to. I have considered implied and was willing to do abandonment nudes, but only with one specific female photographer who has since moved away. But I'm too self-conscious about my body to do nudes.

The most important thing about boobs is that they're natural. I've seen small cute boobs on models who I've shot more than once.

Big, small, perky or full, there is need for all types of breasts in fashion and no model should feel nervous or ashamed of their size smile

For me, they need to be natural and can't be any smaller than 36 DDD, otherwise I won't shoot with the model. Those are probably the two most important elements in selecting a model to collaborate with in an artistic shoot.

So what are you trying to say?

Not all women are blessed with 40 GGG.

She's not "trying"... she said you have stated before that you will not work with a model who is not a NATURAL 36 DDD or BIGGER, and she linked to the actual post to prove she is telling the truth.

Betcee May is beautiful, and I'm sure she has a lovely personality too, but Penthouse is not a fashion magazine and she's not a fashion model. She is (primarily at least) an art model, and she's only a couple years older than me.
Thanks, though.

Absolutely ridiculous that she thinks in order to do a nude shoot or to look "sexy" you need to have big breasts. I am not surprised though, this is what the media has most girls believing.

I will admit that I used to be self conscious of my small chest, however, modeling has made me realize how beautiful they are. There are many photographs I think would look ridiculous if the model was large chested. Small boobs have a place, just like large ones do.

A girl I work with is very intrigued by the thought of doing a shoot. She has very striking features, has very expressive facial features, and other great qualities that makes me think she would be awesome to work with. She also has it in her mind that "models can't have small breasts", and is very self consious about them. We have talked about possibly a glamour/sexy type shoot; but it always comes back to her breasts.
If there is anyone here that happens to fit this description, can you please post a picture. I would really like to show her that its possible to be an amazing model, and have small breasts...

Thank you in advance for your help!

It's always difficult for girls who want to do modeling but think they need to have bigger breasts. I suppose the only thing you can do is help her get over it and let her know that the models who walk the runways around the World, all have very small breasts. That may help her realize that she has it completely wrong.

Of course if she wants to be a runway model, then she is also going to have to be tall. But if she thinks that being in Maxim, Playboy, Sports Illustrated, then she is correct, and no matter how hard you work at trying to make her feel better, you know that she with her small breasts will never be a model in glamor magazines.

At least she has your support. Good luck.

I friend's sister who is 5'10, long blond hair, blue eyes, perfect skin, etc., was rejected from an agency for having too large a cup size.

Most fashion models have smaller breasts. Even many glamour models have smaller breasts, but because implants are so prevalent in that genre there are more C and D cups than most genres. Then in art modelling, you find a range of natural breast sizes but there is a lesser demand for implants. Overall, there is no standard for models' breast size if you make a sweeping generalization. Specific body types more defined within each genre, but I don't think that breast size is even the most prevalent of those defining features.

Maybe I'm just in denial because I've got small tits. But it's never influenced my eligibility for modelling gigs -- at least none that I have been interested in applying to. I think the bodies in highest demand are well-proportioned ones.

small breasts are awesome because
A) it's easier to find a size in everything.
B) it doesn't hurt your back
C) less risk of stretch marks
D) cuter clothes/ bras esp. at VS.
I know this cause I had small breasts at a time.. and I kind of miss them cause these things hurt my back, and I am always too big for shirts/dresses sad bras.
