Love mine. My only complaint is the strap which I need to change because it digs right into you shoulder blades. Never noticed it until last Friday where we had to do a family sunset portrait. The parking lot of the hotel had to b at least a 1/4 mile from the beach and just had to keep switching between me and my assistant with the battery. Other than that, like I said I love it.

I have 2 of them and they are great!  No issues at all and Paul C. Buff has remarkable customer service.

Own it, Love it, Couldn't live without it.  And for the price, you can not do better.... seriously, anyone who says you can build it yourself for less is just being stupid.  You might save yourself $20 making it yourself but my time is worth more than $20 bucks. wink

Recording that into my mental database for future use.

It goes with me to every wedding I shoot.  Wonderful in those twilight hours.

I have one for my studio.. The guys use it.. They love it.. I've used it a few times. I had the Vaggy I prior to the upgrade and that joint fried an AB800.. They replaced them both ( Strobe and Vaggy ), no questions asked.

I'd be careful throwing that term around here.  It has an entirely different meaning than you might have meant.

It works.  I've used it outdoors and we're just entering into the rainy season and power failures are pretty common so it's nice to know if the power goes out during a portrait session we can muddle along.

I love mine.

There is something fun about wearing it in a backpack, Abr800 on the camera, shooting photos and feeling like a Ghostbuster without being plugges in a wall.

I have found mine to be very dependable and powerful for just about anything.  At first I mounted mine with a light stand on a furniture dolly.  Then I found a little fold flat wire shopping cart that works even better.

I have the Vagabond I I have been using it at weddings and on location without any problems.... love being able to have the power to light a scene.

I was offered a Vagabond II upgrade but I never saw that mine was failing to serve what I got it for, I have also used it to power a fan on location to add wind to a shoot.

I have a I and a II, looking to get rid of both now because I moved on to profoto strobes and I use a generator. The 2 will work wit hthe acute 2-1200, but its not the best configuration.

I have both the VB I and II. Love them both. The II is a big improvement over the first one.

I was looking at this and the Innovatronix Explorer 1200. I am going to go with the Explorer 1200 as it is confirmed to work with several different lights and Paul C. Buff has not released any documents with compatibility. I do not want to use AB lights either (nothing against them).

I love mine. I can grab on of my monolights and shoot anywhere. I was actually suprised how many shots I could get out of it with my Hensel 500w head.

I wonder if it has enough juice to drive my new Acute2R 2400 pack for a few shots. Probably not... time for a generator.

Ahh the old ABR800 and Vagabond in the backpack. I do that to. lol. Works great in NYC, even when you find a patch of green on the side of the West Side Highway.

I just used mine today for a location shoot.  I hang it from a light stand to be used as a weight, which is an added benefit.

I love mine. Its small and light.  I shot with an AB400, AB800 and sometimes a fan for part of a day and have never run out of juice.

I have a VI and VII.  Both are slick.  Use them on almost all of my outdoor work.
