I invited about 20 or so models in the Detroit area, so hopefully we can really drum up some interest for you, Illiana!

Sweet thanks!

BTW I will be heading out of town tonight.. Gotta go party in Chicago! So my internet access will be limited; I'll be back Sunday night so no worries!

Very interested.

Is sign-up strictly at the door or in advance? Also, the questions was raised prior, "may we bring model(s) with us? Is there a max limit on photographers to this event?

Looking forward to hearing more.

Sincerely,
Buck

*Even though I'm out here in Chicago still gotta check on you guys! lol. There is a limited number of photographers; just so that we aren't pinched for shooting area.. But photographers may bring models... The more the merrier! Please have them register in advance if at all possible.. But people wont get turned away at the door! But yes I'm sorry I believe I have reached the limit of the venues capacity for photographers!

Also.. Tracy had a suggestion, as far as dealing with the no nose art in nudes... the art is only on the one side so The photo can be taken from the other side of the plane where there is
no art...

So I started doing some fun shopping over the weekend when I was running errands and had a great time looking throughout G.I. Joe's (our local military surplus store).  There are tons of badges and pins and such and I'll probably be going back after I do a bit of research this week on what might look good and be accurate.

That being said, if anyone has any specific ideas or props they're looking for, please feel free to sound off or PM me and if I come across it, I'll let you know!

Hello Everyone!

I'm a model from Canada who would really love to be part of this photoshoot!!

Unfortunately getting to Detroit from Winnipeg is pretty costly.  However, I was hoping that if there were any photographers who wanted to shoot with me, if they pitched in a bit to help with the cost of my flight I'd be happy to take the time to come down and shoot with them.

If anyone is interested please let me know. smile

Thanks everyone!!

This sounds like it will be a great shoot, and I have had two models and one photographer contact me to let me know about this. However it is a long drive for me to go to Grosse Ille. Before I decide whether or not to sign up I just want to see if there is an interest first from any photographers in shooting with me.  Normally I would not ask, but I don't do nudes, and if many of the photographers signed up are looking to do nudes, then I may not be the best suited model for this event.  I have no problems with nude photography per se or any model or photographer who shoots them, it is just something that I have chosen not to do. I do not want to sign up for this event, end up having very little interest from photographers in shooting with me, then have to either show up and shell out the money for the event and spend the gas money, or cancel then possibly be blacklisted as a no-show.

If any photographers would be interested in working with me at this event, please contact me to let me know.

Thanks!

We are all going to have to play nice.  We figured out 6.5 shooting lanes for the 4 planes that will keep others equipment and models out of the background of yours.  Photos to follow.  It looks deceiving at first because the shot angle looks right down the center of the lane, but as you move around the lane there are lots of possibilities everywhere.  Shooting up or bring a ladder and shoot down will increase the angles you can shoot with out someone in the background.   There is very little light and their is not a lot of power anywhere, bring some extra long extension cords.  The longer the better, 300ft will get eaten up fast.  Illiana can take it from here as far as the other shooting locations.
