Forgive me if this has been done, but as antidote to 'creepy photographer' threads, I want to hear your stories on models misbehavin'( and I don't mean trying to steal your expensive lens!) Now personally, there was this  incident once, but that was twenty years ago, and the memory is dim.......

This should be busier, I think everyone is too worried about their reputation to fess up to this! Inappropriate models, you know they exist!

All the "models misbehaving" I've encountered fall under typical rants.

Oh, one model might have flirted slightly at the shoot, and one prospective model I talked with called me "sweetie" in a message.

Does that count?

I don't think you are going to get a lot here.  The thing is, women are a lot more subtle than men when they have an interest in a man, and will begin by dropping hints...verbal and non-verbal.  It is very, very rare for them to come right out and ask like the guys do with them.  And...once the guy gets the hint, they expect him to lead the rest of the way.  This makes it difficult to say "who was behaving badly."

As far as any stories...well...when I was much younger and better looking, opportunities did come around when I was involved in a committed relationship, and I found it best to pass.

The biggest issue I've run into is drama and divas,
I don't have time for either.

But that kind of baggage can usually be weeded out in the selection process.

As to models flirting or propositioning.......
It's really no different than any workplace (or hobby place)
there is this thing called self control.

I've been known to take off my clothes, which commonly results in the other party to forget to take off a lens cap.

Get a lot of models trying to work for "tips." and I don't mean on photography or the horses.

"It's ok if you touch me!"

Not with someone elses 10 foot pole.

What about the ones who do drugs?  Or bring their "boyfriends" and have sex in the woods when they should be shooting?   Or, the ones who try to put the hit on the other models (and I don't mean guys, girls on girls).  Not all models swing both ways, and some find it pretty creepy.

Or the ones who arrive "high" on something, and just create issues.

Fortunately, after doing this for 30+ years, I've limited the problems, with harsh screening techniques, and I don't seem to have these problems any more.

Oh, there were other problems, but those are the ones that kept coming up.

Maybe, but a lot of the girls here are "professionals" (after all, isn't that what it says in the tag line?)

Sometimes they sprout tentacles at my studio.

Actually, it happens with mildly alarming frequency, and I'm beginning to think it's not just them.

That makes zero sense. Getting a hardon is human. Getting the work done despite the hardon is professional.

I sense this thread was opened just so you'd get a chance to announce that a model groped your package.

i've been momentarily orally raped 8 or 9 times by girls whom i'm shooting with for art nudes or sexy glamour just going for my goods with their mouths mid shoot.

i usually politely reminding them that i don't go further into eroticism or explicit views of my life and they normally laugh and go back to posing haha.

of course i'm not gonna panic about it even though at the time it violated my monogamous relationship and was entirely unwanted and unsolicited.  It happened and i solved the problem and i moved on from it.

and yes they were attractive but this doesn't diminish the fact that they did violate me against my wishes and against my current relationship,  but clearly not enough violation for emotional scarring because i acted like an adult and just pushed them off and politely corrected their behavior

dwelling on negativity wrinkles ya, and i've got my elfish figure to maintain haha.

Had a model make out with her girl friend in my vehicle while she was supposed to be changing during a paid commercial shoot.  And the client was there waiting for the next set to get started.  I was totally embarrassed and she'll never get work from me again.

Hmm, models who take frequent ladies room breaks and come out sniffing with some kind of white powder mustache.

models who call the bf on a break, and then proceed to try to convince him not to break up with them over the phone while the crew stands around.

models who start groping other models during a shoot, where one is bi, and one is not.

models who hint, then flirt, then finally come right out and make a bold faced pass, and when you still turn them down, get upset and pout.

models who go tell mutual friends stories, after a shoot, forgetting there was a video camera on in the corner during the whole shoot, and then get mad when you show said mutual friends the video of the shoot.

models who tell lawyers stories, or better yet, have a friend call who pretends he's a lawyer. and again, that tape comes in handy

models who accidentally pack up clothing that doesn't belong to them.

models who bring escorts who suddenly have an emergency one third of the way into a shoot.

models who forget something in their car, and just run out there quick wearing next to nothing, cause "nobody will see."

models who think it's too much trouble to duck behind something to change on a location shoot, cause it's too much trouble.

models who have a bottle of vodka in their bag, and go from acting weird to full on psycho during a shoot.

models who show up for a nude shoot, and forget it's that time of the month, and they forgot to bring any spare tampons (yeah, gross)

Bi Polar models, OMG Bi Polar Models.

models who bring their clingy dog to a shoot.

lastly, models who show up with a brand new, huge, all scabbed over, I just got it tattoo.

and those are just the ones who come to mind.

Eh, Ive been paired with other models on paid shoots that I didn't get a say in that i would NOT want putting their mouths anywhere on me. Even if they're hot, we need to have a conversation before that happens.

umm not a joke, these were instances where i was quite offended they assumed because i was a model i was down to do them.

when it's happened with someone whom i had already reciprocated flirting with now that i'm in an open relationship  it's totally cool.

but a little respect is nice for a professional atmosphere i my opinion.

Sadly, a short list.

There was the model that picked a Pink CD out of the stack and wanted to hear it over and over again. I would have left it at the thrift store if I knew it sucked that bad. What made it worse was we had a great shoot so I got to hear it several times.

Of course, there was a couple of times when the model changed their mind about posing nude...

...and took off all their clothes. Might be misbehavin' but I won't complain! smile

So you would've reacted the exact same way if it was a male model that tried to get a taste?

I smell a double standard here or maybe you're just a lot more forgiving of being sexually violated than anyone I've ever known.
