For those wanting to donate to Jamie's daughter, Natalie Anne, please send your donations via PayPal to the email address [email protected]   Donations sent as a gift won't have any money taken out by PayPal.  Tracey (Jamie's mother) greatly appreciates your support

Jamie passed away last night in a fatal single car accident, with one other dead, and the driver in the hospital.

I can't begin to tell you how much of a shock this is.  Jamie was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside, and she is going to be greatly missed by all those that encountered her. She wore her heart on her sleeve, and although life wasn't always the kindest to her, she was always smiling.  I was very blessed to know her from the start of her modeling career (I shot her senior portraits) and to call her a friend.

For those of you who knew her, and have worked with her, please feel free to share your stories and pictures here.

Jamie and I a few months ago. She's on the viewer's right.

When I heard the news this morning, I just lost it.  I was helping a friend move, and got a message from a friend that didn't make sense.  And then I saw it.

Haven't been able to stop crying since.

Breaks my heart.  Such a lovely girl, with so much spunk.  She leaves behind a young daughter as well.

On her behalf, set up an education trust fund for her young daughter with a PayPal account.  We can always contribute to help one of our own.

Let me talk to Jamie's mom about that to make sure that would be fine with her, but if she agrees, I'll most certainly do that.

The shoot where I told Jamie that the water was totally kosher, no way she'd get bit by anything...or get swamp rash...yeah, she totally got swamp rash.  She never let me live that one down.

This was the Jamie I really loved, the goofy one.  Turns out car washes are kinda chilly...

Still makes me laugh.  Time to compile all my candids because they're the great ones to remember her by.  So much laughing.

I was very crazy to read comments on Facebook this morning...

at first...   WTF... that the hell are people posting about... it made no darn sense.

Finally found some local news reports (no names given) ended up putting some of the pieces to the puzzle together.

I only talked to her online a few times, she was always friendly and nice.

Such a loss for everyone who knew and loved her, my heart goes out to all of her friends and family.

Just so extra gutting when such a young mother is taken way too soon.

I had no idea what you were talking about when you wrote to me.  I was moving all morning so I didn't see anything on Facebook until I read your message and then checked my newsfeed.  Broke down instantly, thank goodness I was with a friend.

I'm dreading the funeral, but I have to go.  I know her family, and she was really close with my ex's family.  (A family that I called my own for 5 years)  It's going to be a rough one.  I can't imagine how devastated they are.

May she RIP and so sorry for your loss. It is always tough to use someone close to you but especially when they are about your own age and is such a tragic way.

Very sorry to hear of her passing. Such a loss.

Laura Ann, as soon as there is any sort of official obituary or news article that can confirm her passing, please let us know.
We've seen on article already but unfortunately it didn't use her name.

Will do, Dean.  I assume by tomorrow or the day after there will be an obituary.  I'll forward it to the mods once it goes up.

This is such sad ... tragic news about Jamie!  May she rest in peace.

I can't imagine more sad news than the death of your friend.
It's especially hard to deal with such a loss so close to Thanksgiving.  sad

May she rest in peace.  May you be able to stay close to her young daughter,
and remind her of what a beautiful person her mom was from the inside & out.

Shame that a *heart* and hugs would need to be the bearer of such terrible news.

I'm glad you were not alone.

Had I made it back there in September, she was one I was hoping to meet up with (along with you, obviously.)

Words don't do justice to how much senseless loss sucks.

having a hell of a hard time looking through images of our shoot in Chicago..

what a fun time this was...

I remember seeing her and Brittany Lee at a merch table at Glamourcon...they were bored,I started showing Jamie some pics and she recognized my work(one of the first models that knew me as "that guy that shoots models in water")..and wanted to shoot my style for a while, and was geeked that she now had the chance to do it with the person who's style she liked

I went with Jamie to one of her doctors appointments, and while we were waiting, we played hangman on the chalkboard and drew little messages to each other.  That's probably one of my favorite memories, she was always so full of life and could smile through anything.
