Where are you from? Where are you based now and do you travel for shoots?

I am from Arcadia, FL. I am based in Miami, but I travel all over for shoots, including to Puerto Rico, where I have an agency.

Who or what inspired you to become a model?

Oh, this is a good one. To be honest, a breakup inspired me! I wanted to prove to myself that I could be beautiful.

How and when did you start modeling?

I started modeling in May 2020 when I was contacted by Joe Sale, a professional photographer, and artist in Tampa, FL. He found me on Facebook and saw something in me. Those photos are what started everything. Lindsay Adler started following me because of that shoot.

What type of modeling do you enjoy the most?

Ah, man! My favorite? That is so hard. It really just depends on the team, ya know? It’s all about the energy on set. It could be editorial, commercial, products, you name it; if the vibe is uplifting and positively kinetic it will be one to remember for me.

What do you look for when deciding to work with a photographer?

Creativity/vision and quality images.

Which models or other artists currently inspire you?

David LaChapelle always come to mind. His pictures are literal works of art.

What would be your dream shoot?

Ya know, I’ve been thinking about that a lot since it is a question for the Maxim competition and I honestly don’t know. If I could somehow capture the heart of humanity and really convey universal love through the image so that whoever sees it feels that connectedness to all beings, that would be it for me.

How important is social media in your success?

It is not important to me at all. Because someone with 100 followers now could be a success story in the making. Everything is continuously evolving. I never look for numbers but originality.

What else do you like to do outside of modeling?

I’m also a licensed massage therapist and truly enjoy holding space for people’s healing. I’m a workout junkie: HIIT, yoga, strength training, mobility, weights, cycling, and beach tennis. And meditation is essential for me.

What’s the best career advice you can give to new models?

Don’t be afraid to move; even if it feels weird. Don’t shoot with everyone; research the photographer and make sure you like their work. Put money into your portfolio so that you can apply for jobs through Model Mayhem and other casting sites.
