There are beautiful models and sexy models. Pretty women with that vacant stare BORES the shit out of me and it shows on the photos. There are models that exude sex appeal, that excitement gets added to the work, it shows on the finished product. A model can make you feel that sex appeal, draw you into the mood. Yes, it affects you, Sexy women get men excited, even experienced photographers. It does not stop you working, it gets the mood of the photography set. So drop the PURITAN shit, that we are not supposed to react to a PRIMAL instinct. btw..the only model I have compalin about a photographer was about a female photographer looking for a slurp.

Legit togs - "tingle of arousal" NO RAGING HARDONS!!!! Was it sensed? Possible change of breathing pattern not RAGING HARDON How was it handled? Hello everyone. Upon re-reading what I wrote and catching up with the progress of this thread, I have come to the conclusion that I may have portrayed myself in a negative manner. I do not wish to revoke my personal opinion on this subject, (that being that arousal during a photo shoot is human nature and must be understood as that, but handled in a professional manner) rather, I would like to fill in some blanks that I left in my earlier testimony. I have thought about this more and I recalled my first instincts and feelings apon being told that said photog was turned on. It definetly made me more cautious of him. It wasn't until I spoke to him further, that I began to feel that he was not a threat to me. Do I think it is wrong to tell a model or that you were turned on by them during a photo shoot? Absolutely. It is not professional in my opinion. I would also like to make it clear that I have never told a photographer that I was turned on during a photoshoot. When I use the words "turned on" in this context, I am also not refering to physical arousal. It was the said "twinge". Furthermore, I would like to appologize for using the word "prude" in relation to the people that do not have the same opinions as I do. I feel that threads lack certain mannerisms that can only be experienced in face to face conversation. I am seriously re-considering ever sharing any of my imput in a thread on MM again. Everything is nit-picked and exagerated to the point of making me feel like I am watching a horrible daytime soap opera.

Fotogene wrote: After 45 years of shooting partially to totally nude females I can say for the most part no during the shoot. My concentration is on all of the aspects of getting the shot. I did have a model ten years ago who was a dancer run over to where I was standing and suddenly check to see if I was aroused with her hand. It so startled me that I almost ended the shoot..... So, you mean to tell us that a model literally grabbed your...manhood...in order to determine if you were aroused sexually!?! During the shoot, no less! Amazing....I'd have to have a very serious discussion with a model bold enough to do that to me after the photoshoot... Something tells me that if you did have a hardon during a photoshoot, that you'd simply continue working towards getting the shot [no pun intended]. Make sure you have baggy pants on for your photoshoots with female models, my fellow male photographers... For the models that have, or may post in this thread: What would you do if you were, on your own, without any attempt on his part to make this known to you, to discover or notice that the male photographer has gotten a hardon while shooting you? I ask this in the context of him continuing to conduct and conclude the photoshoot in a professional manner.

Okay, I just got off the phone with my attorney, and he advises me that I do not recall if I've ever been aroused during a shoot.

LOL...let's turn this around a bit. Have you ever come across a model who, when she got naked, was so totally bad looking that your winky went into seclusion for weeks? You know...maybe if she looked like a preying mantis with cortisone bloat?

That will NOT get me a woody with the help of 4 Jack Daniels.

Okay, here's what we'll do. Any model planning on being in the Seattle area at all this year, drop me a line. We'll shoot nudes out at the mill for my book ( http://journalpix.com/MillCasting.jpg), and see if you can turn me on. I dare you. (damn, I'm shameless!. Think anyone will go for it? :-))

Every homosexual MAN(yes, man) in the country would probably disagree... Gunfitr wrote: I used to shoot with a particular girl who would go to tugging on the clasp of her jeans, and unbuttoning her shirt, and pushing up a little cleavage, all the while making the most intense eye contact you would ever beleive and she looked like she was whispering really really naughty things to herself. Don't know a guy that has shot her that didn't completely understand what she was up to. If as a guy that didn't give you a bit of wood, then you don't deserve to call yourself a man. Mark
