Jun 23 05 02:49 am Link Posted by lisamona: Jun 23 05 09:25 am Link If this event goes well, this will turn into a Bi Monthly event in and around Manhattan Jun 23 05 09:26 am Link I'll be there with models Lauren(10975) Carissa (12972) Keri(10963) Jennifer(10320) & Sibel(8758) as long as our schedules permit plus anyone else I shoot with from out on the island. Jun 23 05 10:00 am Link Hello- I'm all for the NYC MM meet up- though the first place to come to mind when I think MODEL/PHOTOGRAPHER NYC GET TOGETHER is the VILLAGE. MANHATTAN- being the center of NYC- sorry NOT brooklyn- and not to start trouble. Brooklyn- is making it difficult for many people to get to. Manhattan is easier to get around- it is. Jun 23 05 10:02 am Link But i'll be there no matter what. Just think the next one should be in the city. Jun 23 05 10:03 am Link I agree with Serena, Manhattan would've been fair, especially the village but oh well they do say Brooklyn is the new Manhattan(yea right!) but I'll try to be there either way. Jun 23 05 10:35 am Link If this Meet up goes well The next NYC MM event will be in Manhattan So come one come all lets make this meet and greet party a success Jun 23 05 10:57 am Link I am trying to go as it sounds like it will be fun- any body else in jersey wanna carpool? shoot me an e-mail Jun 23 05 10:57 am Link I'm coming...should be fun! Jun 23 05 11:00 am Link Posted by *SerenaBeana*: Well, we started in Manhattan and there were alot of complaints about the location being too uptown. You're saying the Village, someone else sai the fashion district. I don't know the Village at night so I picked something I do know. Bedford Avenue in Williamsburg is literally 8 minutes from Union Square on the L-Line. You can't walk to Spring Street that fast. Next time it will be in Manhattan. Jun 23 05 11:07 am Link No matter where the party is being held some people are going to Bitch that its to far uptown, its not close to the path ,penn station, grand central ,its to far from the subway blah blah blah. Well this is going to be a fun way for everyone to get together and see the faces behind the avaitars , network and have some cheap drinks and play pool and just have a kick ass time I know I willbe there and will be bringing along some of my MM friends and soon to be MM members Jun 23 05 01:46 pm Link *bump* Jun 23 05 05:35 pm Link I've been to a couple of these, and they always turn out great. I'm actually considering doing a BBQ for the MM's that live in NJ or New Yorkers that don't mind an hour commute. Count me in...networking is always good. Do they have any hot buffalo wings??? Jun 23 05 07:26 pm Link Could become a big BBQ...and a fun one, too Jun 23 05 07:31 pm Link *bump* Jun 24 05 08:48 am Link Well, well, ah, well, ah, ah, I would like to announce that I have outlawed Brooklyn and we begin bombing in Five minutes. RR Jun 24 05 08:50 am Link Bring it back to Manhattan. Any further than that and I'll most likely end up in CT. Jun 24 05 08:56 am Link Posted by Glamour Studio /Gary: Williamsburg is nice, we have good beer. It's 8-10 minutes from Union Square on the L-Line. Jun 24 05 01:12 pm Link i hear bermuda is nice, shall we try there? Jun 24 05 04:31 pm Link Posted by Ashley-Tatum: Yes, Virginia, there is a cover charge. Jun 24 05 05:56 pm Link Posted by Ched: Posted by Ashley-Tatum: Yes, Virginia, there is a cover charge. Bermuda has a cover charge? Puerto Rico then? I'm staying away from Aruba though Jun 24 05 06:27 pm Link Posted by Ashley-Tatum: Posted by Ched: Posted by Ashley-Tatum: Yes, Virginia, there is a cover charge. Bermuda has a cover charge? Puerto Rico then? I'm staying away from Aruba though I wanted to go to Maldives until it got smacked back in December. Jun 24 05 07:03 pm Link *****ROAR ****** Jun 24 05 10:07 pm Link i sat here... and watched it slip out of my hands. i could have walked to the first location from my house.. the second location was just a stones throw... now this place??? im goin to walk the dog. maybe by then it will have circled the globe and gotten back to the UPPER WEST SIDE! dammit.. im gonna try to come because my homey patrick hair said it was a good idea dont worry... you wont notice me. dame Jun 24 05 10:13 pm Link Posted by Glamour Studio /Gary: It's just a few blocks from the williamsburg bridge. Parking in that area of brooklyn is always available. The first location is in an area of manhattan where its almost impossible to find a parking space. Very easy to park if you feel like spending $20 to $25 to park in a lot (less money for beer ... oh goody...). People from manhattan talk about brooklyn like its a 3rd world country that they need extra vaccines , a passport and a sherpa in order to visit. (manhattan comment not directed at you Gary, just ranting) . The Village has become a rather obnoxious place to hang out since its been "Yuppiefied" and most of the people who hang out there are tourists. As a result the bars tend to be overpriced. Willyb is just fine a place to have this gathering. Jun 25 05 07:49 am Link Are dogs allowed? Jun 25 05 07:53 am Link Posted by Monty T. Dog: Oh, my, what beautiful big blue eyes you have. Jun 25 05 09:37 am Link Posted by Ched: Posted by Monty T. Dog: Oh, my, what beautiful big blue eyes you have. Yea, I am thinking of coming but Monty looks like a wolf. Yeah, at first I was thinking of getting to the city by train since I'm only 4 blocks from the station and it's only a 25 minute ride after that but it starts at 8pm which would allow me about 2 drinks and then heading back before the trains stopped running. Or I could just sleep in Central Park covered with some newspapers. Jun 25 05 09:19 pm Link *bump* Jun 26 05 09:31 am Link CHANGE OF VENUE - BROOKLYN * The Abbey 536 Driggs Ave. (between N. 7th & N. 8th), Phone: 718-599-4400, It's a straight shot from Union Square on the L and accessible from the G (Metropolitain Ave) and you can drive to it as well. see everyone there Jun 26 05 10:10 am Link so whos going???????
