Here is nothing wrong with my approach, I'm just getting played.  I thought be nice & professional would get you far, apparently I don't fall into that field.  That's why I'm kind of venting right now.  I'm had several women e-mail me know what they were e-mailing for & I sent them the information they wanted.  Haven't heard from them since, that's why I'm kind of upset right now.  If you want to do it fine, if you don't that okay too just don't e-mail me & put me through all the headaches.

Perhaps you could a site which specializes in fetish models, such as http://www.domdominion.com/community/models.html for contacts. If you've been doing this since 1999, who were you working with before? Perhaps you could use them again, or ask for referrals to find new models.

Sorry to hear of your frustrations. It goes both ways. Models also contact photographers who seem gung ho at the first e-mail and then they drop off the face of the planet it seems.

Re-evaluate what information you're putting into your e-mails. If they have profiles here that list their rates, check those to ensure what you're offering matches what they'd normally be paid. Also, do they want to have one of the following but you're not offering it: MUA, stylist, escort present, etc.

Finally, as it's been pointed out, you aren't doing the most everyday of shoots. It's not incredible that you're having issues casting it. Be patient. Have you tried (nice, professional) follow up e-mails to each model to ask if they are still interested and to let them know that you're willing to work with them on the specifics?

All the best,
C.

Of course I offer reasonable pay, but I'm not going to offer them the farm either.  I do look very hard in finding female models.  The models so far here are too vain, two sandwiches short of a picnic or that's I'm a complete nobody, I've been doing this since 1999.

LOL - classic.

I will not offer a critique of your work as you have not asked for it.

You are obviously not offering enough $$$ - and your comments here about female models are not going to endear any of them to work with you for free.

Just my $0.02

I've got too many shoots coming up to risk getting brigged right now...

Must behave....must behave...

Anyway...I'll behave...

We all have flaky models...at times...and models have flaky photographers at times...get better at pre-screening...and expect that you will still get bit once in a while...finding girls that dig your work is one way...offering irresistible amounts of money is another way. I have to say if I was a model that normally didn't do fetish and I was putting a price tag on some of those nude shots...the price tag would be steep.

By making such generalisations, you are only narrowing your field of potential models further.

If you're looking for models to do thinks which are farther outside the norm than usual conduct, you're going to have issues finding models for such things; insulting your potential models isn't going to help the situation any.

Professional models will want to get paid, and unless you're the best photographer in the world, don't expect them to commit to a shoot, as they will drop you, if they get a paying job at the last second.

The new models, most of them will drop out of modeling, as photographers keep using the excuse that they're not going to pay them, as they don't have the experience.   After doing a few shoots, they just decide it's not worth it, as they start thinking that they'll never get paid for modeling, so they just drop out, without ever letting anyone know.

I'm totally disappointed, one day female models who turned me down or never return my e-mails or calls most likely will probably be washed up.

OP: I was going to say, If you're having trouble with female models, then shoot male models.  ... Then I looked at your port sad  It will be very difficult to find serious models on MM, male or female, that would respond to someone with a portfolio such as this.  As one of the GKs for this site, I always vote NO on letting fetish ports such as this on MM because it isn't a very good fit with most of the membership.   You might have better luck on Craigslist under the adult section.

This probably isn't the best place to seek "pie fetish models".   Try craigslist.

Can I just say that after reading all your responses I don't think I would EVER want to work with you.
secondly stop generalizing female models as if we are all one. we are not ants.
thirdly, your style is very 'unique' the amount of people who like or even want to be associated with it are few and far between. I personally would never want to do anything in that style. though you would never work with me because, as you put it I don't have 'boobs'
so be a bit more mature about things and stop moaning.

Your portfolio all looks like still frames from some porno movie so that wouldn't really turn me onto working with you.

Though if you paid me I might.

Hahahaha, well played!

OP, a lot of good advice has been offered in this thread. Think about the suggestions and try to focus on the positive. The general rule of thumb with these things is that there's always someone who'll do it for the money, so if you've found people before, you can certainly find them again. Burning your bridges with this site by insulting the members isn't going to get you anywhere.

well, by insinuating that you believe the majority of female models are flakes, you've already turned me (and i'm sure some others) off of working with you. that seems to constitute a lack of respect for models who DO show up promptly, work hard, etc.

I'll be in your area Nov. 7-9, look fabulous naked, and am a reliable fetish model.

That probably means the job specifics were not what they were interested in doing.

There's been plenty of times I've been interested in a job, only to get more details and decide it wasn't for me.

They should have sent you an email saying sorry I'm no longer interested or whatever. But I don't think their lack of interest makes them "not fun" "a few sandwhiches short" or whatever other insults you're throwing at the female model population.
