Don't worry about having more models than photographers.  Unless you implement pre-registration cost for models, I can assume 30% of the models WILL FLAKE.  This is unavoidable.

I hope you're wrong. This is such a good cause.

The good news is that even though we've had about 10 models flake so far, we've more than made up that number with new ones. I have another two to post later this afternoon. So, assuming that 30% will flake, and we're getting 2 new ones a day, we'll probably be up to 100 by the time of the shoot :-) OK - maybe not 100 - but I'm sure at least 40 :-)

Kesler is right about the flake factor.

Sometimes I think models say there going, so that they look good by saying so, but dont really intend to go.

TOP TEN MODEL EXCUSES
1. Family emergency
2. Grandma died (for the 4th time)
3. They called me into work
4. Im sick. I woke up with.......
5. Car battery died
6. I cant find a babysitter
7. I got a paid shoot
8. There is so much drama in my life right now that I cant do anything for a couple of weeks (two days later you see them post about how good life is)
9. I got into an accident
10. I thought it was next sunday

I know I missed a few more but the bottom line is that "IT HAPPENS" and regardless of whether they go or not life goes on.

This lil rant was brought to you by ......... (we should find sponsors for this)
Now back to our regularly scheduled program.....

BUMP!!

Hey,

Does anyone have a contact who can provide music at the event? I'm thinking that it would be awesome to get a DJ to spin some tunes. If you know someone who can volunteer a few hours and some audio equipment, please send me their contact info.

Thx,
Steve

Perhaps the models themselves should confirm here on this messageboard.

Would be nice to see the models themselves confirm here on this messageboard.

Maybe she's too busy giving lap dances to remember what she committed to?  I know several strippers who forget what they said 5 minutes ago.  Short term memory loss is a hazard of their occupation.

Gotto share a funny story: A model asked to join, but insisted that she needed a minimum of $100 to cover gas from LA. I thought that really funny! Naturally, if her model career doesn't pan out, she can always get a job as a math professor

Which part of CHARITY confuses people.
And does she not realized it'd not $4 buck a gallon anymore.

lol I probrably know who she is!!!
The only thing dumber than this would be, like for you to do this shoot and say you gonna pay your models first, and whatever is left over is what you will be donating to charity.
