If you want to defend her from herself, and believe her crazy rantings, that's just aces. smile

This.

I don't follow her on Twitter, myspace, whateverthehellelsesheson.

I hear about her every once in a while. And it's always something she's doing for attention. So, naturally, I'll take a gander and she wtf kinda drama whore shit she's stirring up this time, *yawn*, then be on my merry way.

Sometimes I good trainwreck is just pure entertainment, but seeing her on the street I wouldn't give two shits about.

Have you ever been in the emergency room in pain?  There are more cell phones than there are people on this Earth!  I am for open and free expression, but I think that people who post tweets while they are not in a clear state of mind should not be doing so, nor paid attention to.  I have even posted things on here and other places on the net that I later regretted.  Haven't you?

If people were not so interested in her, then we would not even be having this thread.  hmm

It's a brutal world out there.  If you can find wealth and success without hurting anybody...more power to you.

I'm a little confused as to why anybody would want fame without wealth though...

Someone with common sense!   Thank you!  smile

I do know that Tila has a supportive family.  That can be more valuable than monetary wealth.

I don't "follow her" either.  I'm just aware that the media reports on things that are not worthy of news.  Her personal life does not impact mine what so ever.  What I don't like are those who feel like some so called "celebrity" is so important that they bash and hate that person with such passion that I wonder what Tila ever did to them to deserve such anger and hatred.  If you don't like her images, or you don't like her voice, well you don't have to read about her or listen to her.   The "haters" become the story as in the case of Perez Hilton.

Ok, in a summary;  She is "famous" through cleaver marketing for having used Myspace as a vehicle to become popular or "known" and then she launched a website and reality TV show.  You or I can launch popular websites and create reality TV shows too if we put together the network and team to do it. The "it" factor or "X" factor as Simon likes to call it is in the combination of marketing and talent.  Some people overcome their own lack of talent through their marketing ability.  My opinion is that Tila fits more in that category.  However, she does not deserve so much of the hatred that has been directed at her.

This makes the most sense in the shortest post here.

She just annoys the shit out of me because she's a hypocrite. If she wants attention, she should stop bitching about the paparazzi that she invites into her life. If she stopped acting like a fucking five year old about everything, she wouldn't look like such an idiot.

I would like to see that day when nobody cares about Tila.  There are many more important things in this World to be concerned about.

Why are you shouting at me?  You are annoying to insist I watch something like that.  Please do not shout at me.  You don't think that if someone had video of Gia when she was acting like a diva on a photo set that wouldn't be golden?  I'm sure that you and everyone of us models or photographers has had our "moments" on the set where we regretted it.  I'm not interested in those "moments!"  I don't have to watch anything you or Tila puts in front of me.  Thanks! but no thanks.

Well that's more sensible thinking.

She is just another human being occupying space on this Earth.  Why people need to hate her is beyond me.  I don't see her as being better or lesser than anyone else here.  If she is annoying, move on to someone else then.  No one is forcing her on us.

aka I have an intense hatred against paparazzi and want to remain ignorant to the fact that a celebrity can create a media circus all by themselves without the help of the evil media empire.

I'm not shouting at you. I'm making sure you realize that the crazy isn't coming from someone else's mouth, it's coming directly from her. And no, I've never had a crazy set moment and I doubt many models here have been pregnant and put themselves in a potentially dangerous situation and laugh and joke about it.

Maybe you should practice not going on blind rants. You defend her saying you know the "real" her yet you don't even look at all the evidence she herself has provided towards her own fuckery.

Fun fact: I've never watched her show, followed her twitter, or intentionally paid any attention to her. And I still know more than I ever wanted/needed to about her.

Any let's think of it this way: if we didn't have Tila to hate on, who would take her place? No one can say that America doesn't love to hate people. Pathetic truth.

Amy, I try not to have an intense hatred towards anyone except for perhaps child molesters or murderers.  I did call paparazzi "scum" ... yes!  In general, I find that paparazzi are annoying, rude, and obnoxious as they do anything to try to get "the picture."  Not all of them are jerks, but many are.

I have been shoulder to shoulder with news media people.  Those who need to shout out stupid questions, or shock with obscenities to grab attention are worse than any celebrity type "attention whoring" to me because it is an attempt on the "reporter" to manipulate the story.  I have seen it many times and reported it.  The kind of behavior of someone like Perez Hilton is disrespectful.  No wonder he got punched in the nose!   I wont resort to that, therefore I think I'm better liked among the "crowd" I hang out with.  It's just the way I am, and wont change that.  wink

Maybe you have never had drama in your life?  I have.  I don't necessarily create it, and I do my best to avoid it, but sometimes it happens.  The difference is that I don't have a swarm of paparazzi camping out at my doorstep to record those moments. Paparazzi and the media are like an avalanche ... once it gets started, it's nearly impossible to stop!

You say that I am on a "blind rant" but I think you are the one who is being blind to my major point about all this and that is if you don't like Tila, then don't pay any attention to her.  Before she was "known" I'm sure that she wanted and needed to have paparazzi and writers involved to help her accomplish such great popularity that she gained on Myspace.  You and I were not require to become "friends" with her.  It was our choice.  Now that the media circus has taken over ... it's not easy to get her life back to normal.
