New Makeup bag and kit organizing
Very inspiring thread. Many I should take some pictures of my stuff some time.. This is off my Sidekick so I apologize for the quality:  Yup, that's the entire thing. As you can see, I didn't choose my company name arbitrarily.  Under the front lid is a bag containing all my pencil and other liners, and behind the foundations is another bag with all my glosses, etc. There's more than a few eyeshadow palettes in the bottom compartment that you can't see, and if you look closely you can see the Make Up For Ever Flash Colour Kit (with original colors) behind the stackables of my Loose Colours. The two make an excellent combination (it's how I usually do eyes). One bag, containing skincare stuff, is hidden behind the opposite side of the box. I have been looking for something a little more friendly for my necessities. I carry my brushes in a MUFE round stand-up kit. All of my hair stuff and bigger items are in my Zuca bag. No pics of that - it's still a disaster!  and  My 8 or so palettes could potentially fit in here, and my 30 or so pigments too. But I need my cream shadows, lip colors, bronzers and powders most. When I attened school I got a prity good supply of make-up but like any addiction I cant pass up prity pallets and colour and brushes ohhh my I just collect things that are beautiful colors , great quality and usefullness. Gawd I had the best time loading that sucker up out of my old train cases. So much lighter too! Mar 21 07 03:28 pm Link well since this thread has been brought back to life I was all inspired to re-make some of my lables, I just got married and well my old lables had my old last name on it, soooooo out with the old and in with the new, I Also wanted to post some new pictures, I have done away with most of the zip lock style baggies and found some great clear zippered bags and now that every thing is all re-labled I am very happy with my self. I have prity much done away with my big heavy train case and moved everything into this little "pit" style box, I can pull it all out or work from it. And it locks so everthing will be safe, when its fully loaded it weights about 19 pounds but with a nice soft soulder strap it doesnt seam all that heavy. And this kit is much easier to take on the bus or sky train:) Here is the kit all packed and ready for the day  here is all of the stuff that was inside the kit, its amazing what you can fit into a little area I am the queen of packing  Close up of my new lables on some of my pallets  The creams and what not bag Everyone like this lable  Now everything is back in its place ready for tomorrow  Here is a close up of the new lables I made  Well enjoy I love seeing everyone eles kits it makes me inspired to keep mine all labled and always looking for the next best thing to carry my stuff around in Mar 21 07 09:44 pm Link wow Mandy...you certainly are the Queen of Packing! I wish I had more time to change my kit around...I have a full time job in the office and do makeup part time. Last night i looked at my kit before i went to bed and said to myself "I cant wait for those FACE ATELIER foundations & Cinema Secrets Palettes to arrive"...lol. Funny how Im constantly thinking about which new products to try out and how to improve my kit....Its crazy but i have a small notebook where i have a list of all of the makeup products/tools I want to buy, Im I the only one that does this? Mar 22 07 11:04 pm Link Ok, I had to join in. One of my dogs is quite the camera hog... haha... So that fluffy white thing is my Schnauzer, Nigel.  My Kit and My Airbrush.  I just got this bag today for my compressor, it fits perfectly and then it has a strap that attaches to the handle of my suitcase.  That is everything that you will see below packed into the case along with my brushroll. In the mesh suitcase pockets I have my brush cleaner, palette, skin illustrator, block sponge, make-up remover wipes, baby wipes, sally hansen airbrush legs.... and a host of other things.  All my foundations... it looks like a lot but for the most poart they are all decanted into 1/2 and 1/4 oz. bottles. In case you are wondering the assorted foundations are: Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer, Face Atelier, Temptu SB, Temptu Dura, AirCraft, Skinlights, Hollywood Glo, Smashbox Artificial Light, SB Thinner, SB Mixing Medium and 244 Fluid.  My Pressed powders, various brands. Maybelline Shine Free, Mac Beauty Powder, Hyperreal Powder, Blot Powder and Benefit Get Even Powders and NYC matte bronzer.  Lipsticks, Cream Blushes, Cream Foundations, Concealers, Highlighters. Cream Foundations are: Joe Blasco, MUD, Chanel and Ben Nye.  Loose powders, Benefit powders, flash color palette...etc... Loose Powders: Black Opal, T. LeClerc, Mac, Perscriptives, Ben Nye...  Gel, Cake and Cream Liners  Lipglosses and Balms  Shadows, Blushes and Bronzers  Pencils, more concealers, mascara, loose pigments, shimmers.  A few skincare items that I carry with me. I had looked for it online before- but no luck finding it...I must admit that when I saw it at the makeup studio , I immediately went ga-ga for it and paid $65 - well a little less that is- with a small discount that i recived for it...But it was well worth it!
