i think it helps alot for local promotions....if u do it for long enough and build up a little fan base, you will start being recognized when u go out to clubs, etc...so that part is kinda fun! but its a double edged sword b/c u have to watch ur back in case of psycho stalkers....

I've had a bite on myspace.  But I get more exposure here.  I think you'd encounter more GWC (Guys with Cameras) on myspace so be careful.
