so on the scanner we hear a cop say "7 burners deployed we have a fire" (no shit) but when was the supposed gunshot before the 7 incendiary devices were shot into the cabin?

I'll be very surprised if he got out. I agree he'll likely be found with a self inflicted gunshot wound. IF he did get out, this is one of the biggest fumbles in law enforcement history.

In the Charles Bronson/Lee Marvin movie Death Hunt, CB's character barricaded himself in a log cabin out in the snow and it was blown up by a posse/Mounties. When they moved in to look for a body he was hiding in the basement with a shotgun. I hope this dude has never seen that movie.

CNN, AP, others can't seem to make up their mind. BIG BEAR, Calif. (AP) — The extraordinary manhunt for the former Los Angeles police officer suspected of three murders converged Tuesday on a mountain cabin where he was believed to have barricaded himself inside, engaged in a shootout that killed a deputy and then never emerged as the home went up in flames. A single gunshot was heard from within, and a charred body was found inside.

Some are dismissed as somebody's else's problem. And some are officially sanctioned as 'the right thing to do'. That doesn't seem so black and white to me anymore. Well said.

So she still maintained some sort of relationship. a third ex : Dorner also filed a restraining order against an ex-girlfriend who worked for the LAPD Crime Lab while he lived in Las Vegas. The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported that he filed a temporary protective order against her last May in Clark County Family Court. The order said that she threatened to kill herself after Dorner told her that he didn't want to speak to her anymore. He called police on her after she continued to bang on his door and rang his doorbell. Police warned her to leave. He said that a few days later the Los Angeles Police Federal Credit Union reported that someone had tried to change the password to his account. Evidence showed the request came from his ex-girlfriend's home address. This restraining order was granted, but Dorner wrote in his "manifesto" that he was angry that she continued to stay on in the force despite her hacking attempt. http://laist.com/2013/02/09/exes_call_c … parano.php interesting question why folks who are trying to commit crimes are able to still work for the LAPD.

The police chief in Boca finally got nailed on that and lost his job. I don't see any of the nonsense that goes on in my town on the news or the blotter -- and some of it I have seen with my own eyes. I listened to the police spokesman say that they found the body and they identified it as Dohners. They were going into the building with a dozer and " Peeling back the layers like an onion" and now they have not been inside. What a load of crap.

And then cops complain that people don't cooperate. Gee I wonder why.
