Do you have anyone in your area that organizes group shoot events? If so, guarenteed models there with zero reliability issues. It may cause you a few dollars to attend, but everyone's time is worth money... and you could have easily invested 100s of dollars (time off work, gas expenses, location costs, etc) in booking models that never showed up. I've been hosting group photoshoot events for well over 20 years (hense the 500 images in my port). Some real mega-talent photographers have showed up to Select Models events with models they've invited (many are real superstars that are knockdown beautiful). These models end up working with dozens of photographers at the shoot (including myself). These photographers bring great lighting systems and expensive reflectors (that they sometimes share with me and others). I'll take alittle credit on scouting some great shooting locations... but I stole a few of those ideas also... from other photoshoot promotors in SoCal... all except the cruiseboat photoshoots... which I started after my Mom took me on a Carnival cruise 14 years ago... and I said HEY... I've got an idea... Jun 17 18 02:13 pm Link |
