We are going to do it again. 10 years and we are still learning. The event is May 12, but actually runs May 11, 12, & 13.
We have 45 acres of forest with many backgrounds, in the middle of the Hocking Hills. There are hundreds of beautiful places to shoot with 7 waterfalls, a sand beach and rock formations 5-10 miles from the farm.
There is a $25 charge for all people that attend except MUA's. This covers your access to many photographers and models , all drinks,lunch, and snacks.
No one will be put on the attendance list until I have received payment.


Even though this is an 18+ event, you are not obligated to shoot 18+, but some people do. so, you must be 18+ to attend.

This is a quality event and we have a lot of regulars that have attended for years. We have many excellent photographers that attend. this is a great place to build a portfolio, network with other people with similar interests, and spend some quality time.

Kate Rose has never attended this event. She has no idea what she is talking about. What she has done for the last 3 shoots is badgered photographers to pay for her to come to our shoot and she is obviously upset because no one wants to pay her to come. This is a TFP shoot and always has been.

For example, sunrise will be about 6:18 AM and sunset will be about 8:34 PM.

I, for one, am not aging with a bad attitude, like some others have...lol.
I have fun playing dress-up and am honored to have worked with all of the amazing photographers I’ve shot with, at Jim and Sharon’s.

I am excited to see what we create THIS time!

For the NW Ohio and MI folks:  with my new job, I make frequent trips to Columbus and I have figured out a way to avoid all the congestion on Rt. 23.  It is actually a few miles longer, but you don't go through any of the traffic lights and speed limit going up and down in Delaware.

As you come down Rt. 23, turn left on OH-229 (about 2 miles south of the Waldo exit).
Take OH-229 east for about 13 miles.
Turn right on OH-61.
Take OH-61 south for about 2 miles.
Turn south on I-71
Resume your usual directions.

For those of you that require that little woman in your phone telling you when to make each turn, put 100 E. High St., Ashley, Oh in your GPS.  When you get there, put in Jim's address.

If each photographer would reach out and get one model to come, it would help

Sometimes transportation is a problem. Offer rides and offer to pay their fee.

I would really like as much of the conversation as possible to be on Model Mayhem so that there is a more linear timeline of who is coming . All the Facebook stuff never seems to make it here or to me and it is hard to plan the event when I have no idea of the final number of people attending.

If you know people are coming, please post it on here and make sure they contact me.

I check this forum twice a day and I try to check Facebook and Ohio Models at least once a day.

Teshell said that she is coming.

I sent out a bunch of invites.  Hopefully we get some more models.

There's not that much action on Facebook.  Just the regulars.  Hoping we get a few more models to commit.

We used to have over 300 comments on here.

Really hope I can make it out to this. If not I'll just have to make it happen for sure in the fall. I love opportunities like this one, they can be very rewarding creatively. ^.^
