Unless your opening statement has to include a blurb about Megan's Law, there is nothing illegal about doing a shoot with a minor without her parents being present.  Of course it depends on the style you'll be shooting, but that's for a different thread.  Besides, you'll have the MUA there anyhow.  What are you worried about??

LOL  I'd be locked up for life if that were true!

Adults are trusted with minors all the time, and everyday.  Class pictures do not have to be shot with a parent present.  You've got a MUA and a hairstylist, then don't worry.  The only problem with you being with minors is if you are a criminal convicted of crimes against children.
