Mar 30 11 05:51 pm Link Apr 02 11 10:35 am Link thank you!! Apr 02 11 03:59 pm Link *bump* Apr 05 11 06:18 pm Link great edit, but to be honest, i like the 1st un-edited better then the retouched one. It gives her face much more dimension and a kind of warrior-women story about it. the finished job is nice if i had not seen the original, but the story have been edited out too..;-) Apr 06 11 05:10 am Link Not my best and pretty old, but it was much fun too work on. https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/22036408 18+ cheers, JJ Apr 06 11 05:14 am Link my share... may not be the best but at least i tried... from our photo series called "Cast of Clowns" screen cap video:COC III 1up2down Photography Apr 07 11 12:09 pm Link This was my favorite edit: Apr 07 11 01:47 pm Link This was my favorite edit: Apr 07 11 01:58 pm Link Steffen Lehrack wrote: NICE, love the color! I always seem to like my newest ones the most.... maybe just because they are new. p.s. there's some great work in this thread, congrats to everyone - your hard work does not go unnoticed. cheers, David Hirsh Apr 17 11 05:58 am Link This is one of my most recent retouches, and the one that I enjoyed the most doing and put in my top 3. I follow a basic routine with all my retouches, starting with colour correction. I run through a few options until I'm happy with the outcome. Then I'll start on the blemish removal, zooming in at around 200-400%. Depending on the image I'll use Unsharp Mask to bring out some details and once that's completed, I'll even out and/or smoothen the skin tones. Here is where I'll see any blemishes I might have missed and fixing them. Then I'll add a (slight S) Curve for final colour presentation. Sometimes I'll take an image further and add in some effects, change the background, or just play around as see what comes of it. Apr 17 11 07:17 am Link Though I've had many successes and my fair share of disasters, this one has always been dearest to my heart. Colored the eyes, shifter make-up to silver, dodge/burn, lengthened the neck, shifted the jaw and nose to make more symmetrical (very few of people are perfect), toned, and I'm sure there was a little healing/cloning in there. I used it as a learning process to try out a few different techniques. I was trying to salvage an image that was beyond salvage. I spent close to an hour on this when I am sure some of you could have done this in less than 10 minutes. Gotta learn this stuff at some point I guess.
