In your opinion, Is it suspicious that a photographer emails about a paid shoot and deleted his account soon after with only an email contact?

I can be suspicious, but there may also be a legitimate reason. Don't jump the gun but proceed with caution.

his account may have been deleted for him if he had too many complaints or was soliciting for porn movies. proceed with caution.

Most likely he was kicked out from MM doing bad things.  considering that you are lucky, and don't have to waste your time on the spam.

Maybe he decided to go professional, and delete his MM account so he could  "manage his professional image and seem more high end"?

Before everyone and their friends jump in here: I am not implying that one can't be a professional and have a MM account. Neil Snape comes to mind as a perfect example.

I am only saying that some people feel that having only a proper website/blog is the best way to go.

Expect many more scams via your email, since it has now likely been passed around the scammer community. Don't reply to any.

I know a model who fell for that, got the check, deposited it in her checking account and then found out it was a scam.  Because it was a fraudulent check, even thought she never spent any of it, she now can't get a checking account for 7 years.

Is it suspicious that a model emailed (well, sent MM messages) about a shoot and then deleted her account soon after?

Because that has happened (to me) probably 100 times.   Sometimes, they come back and reply, but usually not.

You can always tell a nigerian scam by their typical grammatical errors.
"...you have got the necessary requirements we needed for our Magazine"
"...This shoot contains No Nudity, Fetish, Bondage, and other Adult content stuffs"

also, i wonder if this really ever happens in real life?
"We will be responsible for your Transport fee and Feeding throughout the shoot, you have the privilege to come with an escort of your own choice and we will be responsible for his or her well being also."

It concerns me that you weren't able to recognize this as a scam from the first message.  Please, please, please go to your My Stuff area and click the graphic that says "Avoid scams!"  They're easy to recognize, once you know how.
