Good rooftops in Los Angeles
I'm looking for some good rooftops in Los Angeles to shoot. Anyone have any ideas, I've seen some great images with tall signs on the roof that people have been shot at. Please get back to me on this I would really appreciate it. Or buildings that have a very urban cityscape background. Nov 30 06 11:31 pm Link try the roof top at the home depot on sunset blvd. in hollywood you have l.a. city skyline to the east, and hollywood to the west. Nov 30 06 11:40 pm Link Juan Munoz wrote: Interesting suggestion given that it is a parking lot with drivable ramp access. Although the best rooftops are probably going to be ones where you have permission to access the place and the place is full of roofing material and air conditioning ductwork. Nov 30 06 11:54 pm Link More Suggestions from anyone? Roof tops in Los Angeles and access to them? Dec 01 06 02:24 pm Link The parking lot next to that popular Dim Sum restaurant in Chinatown (sorry the name and street escape me, but it is VERY popular) has an interesting view, but the buildings around it are much shorter. Good for an L.A. Skyline in the background though. Dec 01 06 02:28 pm Link Robert Alexander Photos wrote: What is your budget? I believe Greg Gorman rents out the roof of his studio and you can do that w/o renting out the studio. I think it's $1,500 per day though. At that rate and if you know the right people, you can get some really large and nice homes.
