Are you serious? There is no sure fire way to teach an emotion. Each photographer that deals with a models and wants a certain look, can’t just say” I need sad” and then expect the model to just look sad. He or she needs to help the model along so that she is giving the same emotion that the photographer wants. Unless they just want a generic sadness. I usually want a playful look or an “I’m Missing You” look and since the woman in my work is looking at the person looking at her, it gives the person looking at my artwork the sense that the artwork is is made just for them. I want them to feel she is looking directly at them. I hope that made sense. I am a pinup artist use women in my work a lot. I strive for realism, not just s drawing on paper. I sent some of my drawings to Scoreland Group magazine the other day and they told me that the way I draw is not photo realistic but the women in my artwork jump off the page. The emotion in there eyes was incredible. THat is because I know how to get the models I am working with to show great amounts of emotional content when they are working with me.
