Where are you from? Where are you based now and do you travel for shoots?
I’m from Taiwan but based in New York City and I’ve been a traveling model for four years.
Who or what inspired you to become a model?
When I was major in art in senior high school, my classmate asked me to be a model in our photography class, after I saw the pictures I totally fell in love with posing and creating images that feel like they tell a story.
How and when did you start modeling?
Six years ago, when a studio photographer saw my friend post the photos we created, that’s how I became a full-time model.
What type of modeling do you enjoy the most?
I will say everything! From art nude, painting/figure modeling, lingerie, fashion and anything else. I love everything because you can experience different styles and play a role of different characters in each image.
What do you look for when deciding to work with a photographer?
It’s a feeling, based on our conversations, I will decide if this photographer really loves to create an image.
Which models or other artists currently inspire you?
Gigi Hadid! She is so talented and fits in every style.
What would be your dream shoot?
I want to go to South Africa to create art with animals, something that represents freedom and being wild, a way to release yourself!
How important is social media in your success?
It is really important as a model to represent yourself on Instagram and Facebook.
What else do you like to do outside of modeling?
I also do styling and creative direction. I just really love to create and have so many ideas!
What’s the best career advice you can give to new models?
You have to be confident and feel really comfortable with yourself, even when doing some really weird pose, you have to believe you look amazing at all times!
