Hottest Aboriginal;Native American;Indian Models
Just found this forum, and find it very interesting. I am a proud mixture of Mesoamerican and American Indian, born in Canada. I am Maya from Sonora Mexico, Salish from British Columbia, and Cree from the North West Territories Canada. How do I post a picture? I found that most of the so called claim ethnicity model does not look anyway in that particular group. I guess they may have the blood line but their phenotype is not presented. Many claimed they were the native American, Asian or etc. After looking at their pictures, I said, really! OK, I see. It makes no sense to claim Native American or Asian, when they look like a Caucasian or African American. I recently shoot a model whose father is 100% Asian and mother is 100% White, she looks 100% White, while her brother and sister look 100% Asian. She filled out her profile correctly - Caucasian. There is a wide variety of phenotypes across an entire continent, especially after a couple hundred years of mixing. I'm about to select "other" for the hell of it because I'm as much black as I am native american, but you figure out by age 5 what you are to other people based on what names they call you. I think the braids and handmade sweaters were a tad much, I looked (look?) like the not-Adam-Beech character in Smoke Signals. I was also raised among a lot of Hindus, so my mind was blown when my mom told me I wasn't THAT kind of Indian. I learned Spanish by 11 because people assumed I was puerto rican and I just played along. Signed, the everything but Asian member of model mayhem (that wishes multiple ethnicities or ethnically ambiguous were an option on MM) that really should be sleeping right now ETA I did dance as my friend Don in a switch dance once, I'll leave the dancing to him though ![]() ![]() Jun 01 15 04:23 am Link I am not Native American but I get ask if I am everyday. My ethnicity is mixed with an extinct native tribe (Taino), Caucasian and black so maybe a large of percentage of the native still lingered in my family. As a result, I often enlist friends and family members from the area to model for me. My portfolio is a little outdated, but I will be updating it in the near future.
