I think you are off to a start, but it seems a lot of your shots are still a bit nervous in a way.  It almost seems like you are second guessing some of them.  Dont be scared to be more creative, because I think a bit more creativity in the shots is all you need

is one of the best, but im a sucker for strange angles.

Besides that, just keep working with different people. better shots come with more experience.., and if this is what you have done so far.. you are gunna be great.

I just got my Canon 40D SLR a month ago.
Wild thing..that picture I took was with a sony point and shoot 7.2 mp...and I still like that picture most out of all of my pictures
