Almost every single shot in your port is either looking up their noses or looking down at them. This is not totally a bad thing...you just need to be careful because it can make some people look really bad when you shoot them this way. It can also distort things and make either their head or feet look too big. A bunch of shot in your port would look way better if they were shot straight on. This one I do like though: Keep on shooting!

If you want to really pursue this professionally you will have to lose a few pounds. This is strictly for this industry..you are 16..do not go out and starve yourself! Think about it before you eat at Mcdonalds. I see that you weigh 107 pounds...you are 5ft 2 though. Before you do anything..you need to decide what type of modeling you want to do. I would then only shoot that. This way you build up your port so you are ready to show what you want to do professionally. Since you are 16..you will find a lot of people in this industry will not want to work with you. Do not get upset about this..It might just mean that you have to pay the good photographers to get the good shots. I hope your parents are totally supportive of you since they have to be there on every shoot to sign a release. If this is the case I would write this in your bio. This is my favorite shot of you so far: I would like to see more of these! Keep on shooting!!! If you need more advice be sure to check out www.newmodels.com

This is totally not my thing...Where do you plan on going with this? Do you just want cool pics of yourself for myspace? I do not see a huge market for this in a professional market. I see you are sorta on the short side...runway is not an option for you. As I told the last girl go to www.newmodels.com I think this will help you a bit. You need a few good head shots...they are very important. Good luck!

Do not change that hair, I love that look on you! This is my favorite shot of you: You look stunning here! Keep on shooting and work on your facial expressions. I think that getting photographers to shoot with you should not be a problem. I would also look at other models ports and really try to learn their poses. I would like to see your posing tweeked a little bit. My absolute favorite shot of you is under your bio...I can't comment on it if it is there! Good Luck!!!

I think you need to work on your photoshop work especially. I see contrast, hue, levels...all wrong. I think you need better equipment once you learn photoshop. I say this because it looks like you are using a pop up flash if anything at all. You say that you have been paid since high school....You must have just graduated. I am not trying to be mean at all. I have gone through the same stages when I started in high school. The more classes I took the better I got. I would recommend you do the same. Join PPA...It would be a very smart move. I also see you cropping incorrectly. I see limbs and toes cut off. This is my favorite shot of yours, It bugs me that her foot is cut off. I would take out your lower quality work out. More is not better here. Only post your strongest images. Your weaker images take away from your strong ones. Hold your chin up high and keep on shooting!

I have to say I am totally in love with your fashion stuff. You have the lighting nailed. I would assume you help models pose...i dig the posing. You are certainly working with some very talented MUA's and Stylists. This is my favorite shot of yours. It really stood out to me from the rest in your port. I think because it is so different from the others. I would like to see more on location stuff from you. Most of your work is in a studio...time to master the outdoors! Other than that..hit me up if you make it to my neck of the woods!

Ashley DeVine wrote: Yes please Hi! I am sooo in love with this shot! You did it the correct way and went authentic. I hate it when people try and do pin up or vintage and it is all modern stuff. You look amazing here! You are nice and tall which is a good thing...according to your weight you are nice and curvy which is great for pin up, not so good for runway. I think that so far you are on a pretty good start. I would remove 2 images right away. You are wearing a mask of makeup in the one...it is horribly done! The other is a shot where it looks like you are playing with puppets. It looks cheezy and there is way too much going on. Other than that...keep on shooting!

I see many people who are just starting out who think they know more than god. Anyways...I think that you are off to a great start. Looks like you had one real photo shoot so far. You got some great results from it. I love the hair by the way. I would not have every single image up. I would have narrow it down to at least half as many. Get rid of your home shots...and keep only the best. More is not better here. This is my favorite shot: It is a fantastic shot! I would like to see you in a little more makeup. I think you should put up a casting call for one the next time you have a shoot scheduled. It will make a huge difference. The other thing I would do is practice in front of the mirror. You need work on your facial expression. You could also do this by looking at other models ports. Check out www.newmodels.com Best of luck to you!

First thing....get a MUA, do not do this yourself. Makeup is totally different for photo shoots. Plus, the colors you are using are totally wrong. I think you need to lose a couple of pounds..Again, do not go out and starve yourself! This is a tough industry...trust me! Due to the weight issue, you should not be wearing certain outfits. The belly needs some toning. I would work on your expressions, they look the same in all of them! This is my favorite shot of you.. You look super pretty and natural.Keep it up girl!!

This is a really tough market, in regards to photographing models. It appears as though you have some sort of a studio...why not shoot families and babies for extra cash. This is what I do. You can make a killing shooting weddings, babies and high school seniors. There is not a whole lot in the modeling industry..I do it on the side..it keeps me sane with all the boring stuff. It keeps my creativity level up. I would say that your lighting is a bit flat. I think this is what you are going to need to step up your port another notch. Here is my favorite shot of yours: I think that you should pick up a few photography classes. Thanks for sharing!

I do really like your outdoor work, as well as your fashion and lifestyle work. I do not see you doing much of this stuff anymore. Switch it up! AngelofAsheville wrote: I would like some advice if ya have the time! Thanks The first thing I thought when reading your bio was that you were going to have an amazing port. You seemed to talk yourself up quite a bit. After I opened up your photos I was pretty disappointed in the quality of work. I don't not think most of it is your fault though. I just see some really bad photography. Because of this, it reflects poorly on you. I personally will not shoot with the bad photographers even if they want to pay me. I want to always be viewed as high quality I guess you could say. I think you have some great poses and expressions! This shot happened to be my favorite. 18+ https://www.modelmayhem.com/pic.php?pic … id=2391115 This is a stunning image! If I were you, I would get rid of the weak shots in your port. It will make you look like a much better model...even if there are only 5 pics left!
