What the hell? Why can't someone be able to do a sexy or even nude shoot without the phone call or text msg or email that comes after it... "I was looking at the pics from our shoot and your body is amazing... we should really hang out sometime... go get a drink... I'll even cook you dinner... you know just showing you my gratitude for such a great shoot..."

Oh yeah... and the ones that don't want you to bring an escort only because in the back of their minds they want to try their hand at getting you to sleep with them after or even during the shoot!

And then when you play them, they go after your close personal friends... but little do they know your close personal friends are even crazier than you. LOL

OK... just had to get that off my chest.

thanks for listening.

Ok... just to clarify since no one reads anymore... (and this is not toward any one in particular, and I haven't read the rest of the responses past page 3...) but when I said I "played him" the translation from "ebonics" to "english" is that I made him feel stupid by saying "no". He must have thought I was like other models who do actually put themselves out there (which we all know some do). So I let him know I wasn't like that and I'm mad because that was after I already referred him to my friend. Now... he doesn't know she's a close personal friend. He just thinks she's another model that maybe I've worked with before, so he approached her and she called and told me about it and was very upset. I apologized for having even referred him to her and told her what he did with me.
I also want to say I'm very proud of those of you who've contacted me personally to share your experiences and to give me advice. I'm not above getting advice and admitting that there were things I could have done differently.

9 years ago I discovered that (after talking to a well known model) some girls model for self esteem issues, and in their heads they believe that if you're a model, people will see you as hot and want to sleep with you. Having being devoid of such a notion since sexual feelings came about because none of the boys they liked wanted them sexually, if any boy at all.

So in comes the notion that now they're looked at as a sex object, which they don't mind and secretly delight in, but the notion of having sex???? They're so conditioned to not having it, that the thought of it with strangers just creeps them out, thus the "I need an escort" mantra.

So, let me get this straight.  There are these young women with perfect bodies and beautiful faces, wearing the hottest outfits and there are guys who spend maybe an hour or more taking photos of them and more hours editing and enhancing the photos to accentuate their beauty and sexuality and then these guys actually want to have sex with these same young women?  Unbelievable.

I think he only ask if he can be naked while shooting them. That's not the same as having sex with them. And I think T.R. shoot "different type" of models than the OP. . .

Personally I think it unexceptable to hit on a model during or after a shoot. No matter the type of shoot. I've done various shoots wih models from clothed to nude not once have I ever tried to hit on a model. Plus why should because its a nude shoot imply the model is up for anything other than just modeling.

Photographers that do this give the rest of us a bad name, its just creepy. A proper photographer is it in it for the art.

I've done a bit over 100 shoots, about 40 of them nude.  Never come close to "hitting on" a model, and never had one hit on me.  A couple were a little flirty, but I just consider it their personality.

If I happened to be single, I would consider it ok to, gently, ask a model out if the shoot was over.  By a few days, not a few minutes.

However, I have no problem with offering my friendship to a model, including potentially meeting for a snack or chatting, one way or another.

I'm being facetious.  I'm a silly man sometimes.  I do have friendships with some of my models though -- have had lunch, dinner, even breakfast (nice before an early shoot).

No sex though or requests for same. Even if I had those kinds of feelings, I'd keep them to myself. To me, that seems the wise course -- even if I wasn't married.

I suppose some guys just play the odds.

So this thread has gone on and on.  I wonder how many models and photographers had sex at a shoot while we were all reading threads and playing on MM?.

Or how many paticipants in this thread have set up dates?
